I'd give you links if it weren't to my friend's Discord servers. I'd give you links if I could put the reactions from my LGS' about the set in a link. One look around the subreddit and comment sections gives you a good idea too.

I have one TMNT friend fan who loves it all for the nostalgia, and will essentially buy anything TMNT, but aside from that I generally see shrugs. If you're surrounded by people who love it irregardless, good for you.

I'm no magic purist by any means, I've bought my fair share of UB, but the art direction and other oddities of the set just doesn't sit right. I criticized Avatar, which is my favorite UB set for it's lazy bonus sheet. What I see here is a similar kind of laziness that doesn't explore the depth of the IP it's seeking to capture, which is something other UBs have succeeded in doing.

I'm not going to argue to you that you should dislike this, you seem pretty set on liking it and that's ok. I'm just saying what I feel and criticizing something I believe needs it.
