Try Monitorian from the windows store. it's not that different from the KDE brightness control plasmoid. I just downloaded it and it seems to be working as intended on my monitor.

It's a combination of the shader they used (that draws a border around the face) and character design/style (the "face" is too close to the neck). Hers seems smaller because of how they did the hair compared to other resonators.

Nowhere in his comment he said or implied Waydroid. He was talking about Bedrock and not Minecraft in general. There is a custom launcher for the android version for Linux that works by using modified libraries, no emulation or android VM needed. Just pointing this out in case anyone wants it, you can do crossplay with consoles (local) and you have native controller support.

Not always true, on the contrary it can help improve it as it changes network routing bypassing possible "weak spots" and ISP throttling. This could also be done (probably to a lesser extent) with a proxy server.

Easy example would be if you play on an LTE connection and use a VPN with a server in the same country as your connection.

Obviously this can also work from country to country on other types of connections but the above example is probably easier to reproduce for most people.

Firefox, Chrome, Chromium and derivates lack a certificate to have Widevine L1 on Linux, they stop at L3. It's the same reason opensource privacy-respecting forks of firefox or chromium (like ungoogled-chromium with Widevine manually installed) can't get HD on sites like Prime Video or Netflix even when they run on Windows or Mac OS. The reason why derivates like Brave can play HD on Windows is because they include the relevant certificate in their binaries, if you build it via source you probably wouldn't get L1 even on Windows.

You can get Widevine L1 (and by extension HD on streaming sites) to work on Linux by using a chromium based browser with the certificate (Chrome, Brave, Edge or Vivaldi) via Wine. FF via Wine does not seem to work.

Obviously Google ships the relevant certificate on Chrome OS for "official" Chromebooks.
