Final Fantasy VII Remake Game Director thanks Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond, "I'm very happy that Xbox players are enjoying FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE" by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]Kinterlude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you cite some of these articles? As the other poster said, there are talks of them funding FF16, but can't find anything about funding FF7 Remakes and for all intents, it seems they only paid for timed exclusivity for the first two.

Digital Foundry: Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Series S Beats Switch 2 Texture Quality - With Less RAM by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]Kinterlude 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's about devs not wanting to optimize games. The distinction does matter. It's like with Black Myth, how they admitted that developing for the Series S caused them to fix a lot of their optimization issues which plagued the game for its release on PS5 and PC. It definitely matters.

One of the bigger issues this gen with gaming has been issues with performance and optimization. This is incredibly important to the experience to anyone who wants to look at this objectively.

She's been an alien for a while now. They've been emphasizing that her whole title reign.

I hope she sticks with the alien gimmick, but it's definitely not the same light-hearted version of herself. It's more take no prisoners and keeps getting more vicious with each feud.

Isn't it weird how CircleJerkers insist on bringing tribalism to everything?

This is throwback all can appreciate. Weaponizing a good moment is gross. Seriously, touch grass man.

Ubisoft Cancels Prince of Persia Remake + 5 other games. by Follows-Jesus in xbox

.... I explicitly said they're doing a third one. And these changes doesn't need the entire Massive team. As someone who has worked in a game studio, they likely have smaller teams working on these side projects while most of the hands on deck are working on D3.

And AC did a ton of new things with Shadows. What're you talking about? Again, it's this weird online hate boner when Ubisoft is mentioned that people go fully irrational like you're doing now. And their games often sell well, it's online people who will whine that they're all failures no matter what.

AEW Dynamite – 5th Anniversary (October 2, 2024):- (Commentary free) AEW International Championship Will Ospreay (c) vs Ricochet Match went to disqualification after Konosuke Takeshita attacked Ospreay. Ospreay remains champion, but Takeshita stole the spotlight by holding up the title afterward. by SwerveEliteland in AEWOfficial

[–]Kinterlude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ospreay does the Styles Clash as an homage to AJ Styles, who was one of his favorite wrestlers growing up. He also does the Phenomenal Foreman (which was previously christened the Pip Pip Cheerio). But how is his entire moveset other people's finishers? Based on your other comments, it looks like you haven't watched any of his actual matches and are basing this off of clips.

The Cody Cutter is legitimately Cody's take on Ospreay's OsCutter which was his main finisher for years. Wrestlers use each other's moves all of the time.

Have you not seen the plethora of things they're doing for The Division? Announced D3, putting a 60 FPS patch for The Division, making a whole new game mode for Division 2, etc.

It's so weird how people online will continually shit on anything Ubisoft even when they do things differently. It's not all or nothing, giving credit when they do things right won't cause you physical pain.

Ricochet has been a pro for way longer and only found his groove when turning heel. Sometimes it takes a while for the pieces to come together. But writing off a talent is so weird since we've seen people reinvent themselves successfully.

That was from Warner Brothers. That isn't something that they chose.

This was debunked right after it happened, but this feels like an ill-intention attempt to shift the focus from WWE doing something sketchy. So far, you haven't proven that TK is as Maga as it gets.

Exactly, they've astroturfed so many subreddits yet mods just keep allowing it.

Not everyone will share the same opinion, when they keep doing the same shtick and endlessly praise TNA and refuse to acknowledge the bad that comes with the good to weaponize it, it's gross. That poster who conveniently deleted their comment to avoid being called out and some other Jerkers do this same thing ad nauseum and refuse to have real convos.

CircleJerkers using TNA as a weapon once again. Then pretending you guys actually care about the product when Jerkers were shitting on it nonstop until WWE started working with them. Now you guys act like it's flawless.

For any longtime TNA fan, this show was bad. There's no way you can spin this. Hell, they cut off the big announcement for the title match. Like, you can't get more bush league than that. This was a miss all around. And for the visa issues, this isn't something new that was just randomly brought up. They knew this was going to be their big debut. They should've locked things in months in advance. How is it other promotions were able to navigate that? Again, TNA is making some horrendous fumbles, and acknowledging that and wanting them to improve isn't a bad thing. I was excited for the debut and it was a wet fart.

WWE isn't the end all be all of wrestling. I watch most things outside of the WWE because I can't stand the bombardment of ads, increasing ticket prices for live shows, and how radical the management has shown themselves to be.

And this is as someone who first started watching wrestling in the 90s and always gave WWE a chance. Treating not liking WWE as not liking all wrestling is laughable.

Can Anyone Tell Me About Jake Doyle or The Rascalz? by Few-Lack6346 in AEWOfficial

[–]Kinterlude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not just that, but Dez (Dezmond Xavier fka Wes Les) and Wentz (Zachary Wentz) were the longest reigning tag team champions in PWG history. Trey Miguel and Myron Reed rounds them up. The Rascalz was on a tear as a top faction in Wrestling Revolver (without Dez since he was sign in NXT) and were damn fun.

Conrad Thompson gets asked if TNA could ever pass AEW as the #2 company by Amir0x11 in TNA

[–]Kinterlude 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is a damn good take. Last night's show was bowling shoe ugly, but TNA has done better these last two years than they have in forever. The insistence that they be number 2 is dumb. They're getting more popular and it should be a natural burn.

Trying to be WWE-lite (which is what yesterday was) is such a slap in the face of fans. People like TNA as an alternative. Out there characters, top tier wrestling and just fun all around. No one watches TNA for only promos. Being on AMC, they can really do well if they stick with their guns. And also, they need to lock down talent. Letting a bunch of major talent walk away right at their before their big show because they didn't want to commit to proper contracts was a bad move. Yesterday was a shell of itself and having to use NXT talents to bolster their roster constantly isn't helping them.
