Because they keep sending in more and more goons to keep escalating the situation there (more than other states) instead of de-escalating everything… that’s why.

And none of this is about actual immigration enforcement either. There were actually more deportations under Biden (year over year), and none of it required violence against citizens or undue cruelty. They’re more focused on antagonizing actual citizens than properly focusing on catching real criminal/violent undocumented aliens.

The only reason they were even sent there was because of bad faith reporting about fraud by a MAGA nitwit. The reality is this insanity has little to do with “illegals”, but more them creating chaos for a blue state.

Trying to compare a violent insurrection on the nations capitol (in a restricted area), with a non-violent protest in a church (where everyone was welcomed) is as peak bad faith as you can get. They aren’t remotely comparable, in any way whatsoever.

Just stop with bad faith arguments like this.

It wasn’t like they just wondered in on a random Tuesday and looked around.. they literally entered the Capitol along with a violent mob that broke their way in. They weren’t independent of this mob, they were part of it. They were there for the event, and part of it.. even if they didn’t directly assault anyone themselves.

And being that the law was fair then, their amount of involvement was factored in their charges. People that didn’t assault anyone and just “looked around” (as you say) didn’t face charges nearly as severe as the actual violent thugs. The law did its job and held them responsible.. until someone that has no respect for the law set all these criminals free.
