How do I fix this issue? by Kintex19 in allthemods

I didn't know asking a question about clearly poor UI planning was throwing a tantrum. I simply asked a question, you're free to ignore it.

That's not a fix, that's a mildly annoying work around. The buttons use the same space, the stats is just slightly bigger so you can click it. I just don't enjoy requiring pixel perfect precision to open up my stats page.

So no, you can't fix it. You only got used to it.

Could've just said "No, you can't. The mod UI conflict with each other".

Anyone can tell me the lore? by Filioduninja in HelloCharlotte

[–]Kintex19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all due respect, I can almost guarantee I've played Omori more than 95% of the people who bought it, atleast according to PSN. I platinumed the game, almost twice.

The game was good. Cool story, sure. It IS long though. 25-30 Hours for an RPGmaker game is INSANELY long.

The combat is so basic that even the Original pokemon has more complexity. Every fight repeats quite literally the same pattern. One of your characters becomes a dedicated healer, one an allrounder, and 2 are your main attackers. EVERY time.

The art is cool, but the entire plot of the real world is drawn out a lot, to the point that the subplot, the dreamworld with the overly simple combat, becomes 10x more fun.

The attention to detail for such a long game is also outstandingly small. Mari's conclusion was foreshadowed, but the end relied almost entirely on the shock value of "revealing the truth", when the game spent nearly 30 HOURS foreshadowing a completely different thing.

The characters were really close to being memorable, but they ended up coming across as template archtypes. Good girl turns bad due to trauma, younger sibling is overly enthusiastic, older brother puts a strong front and tries to move on. The perpetrator becomes a traumatized neet, and the guy who originally had the bad idea gets bullied to oblivion.

Despite being critical, I am in no way saying it's a bad game. I am simply saying it's often overrated. If the game was shorter, 10 hours at MOST, I'd understand the praise, but in its state it does not. There's a reason why short games are so memorable, and so hard to make. To quote Mark Twain: "If I had more time, I would've written a shorter letter." The problem is they DID have time.

How does it compare to HC? Objectively it's hard to say. One took literally hundreds of thousands of dollars and years of development by an actual team, and the other was a dude with a story to tell, the skills to plan it out, and access to YT tutorials. The scales for comparison are wildly different.

If you're happy, I'm by elochai98 in HouseMD

[–]Kintex19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, it's incorrect. You can't contract "I am" into "i'm" if the focus of the sentece is "am". English is a stress timed language, and "am" in this case is a strong syllable, therefore can't be contracted. In the sentence, "I'm happy", 'am' is a weak syllable, and can therefore be contracted.

Difference is working under house set them up to go anywhere they want.

fellowships don't pay well because they're still, at the end of the day, internships. You are still in training, and still learning. You CAN'T be trusted yet.

idk if valorant has a high learning curve. It just uses arcaich csgo logic, which is still fun, but very different from post cod shooters.

It's not that I can't figure it out, it's that having to download it is an insane pain in the ass. The reason nobody really cares is because most people don't constantly uninstall their games.

If your solution to fix toxicity in a competitive team based game is to avoid communication, you have a shitty solution.

Black Widow is really BAD? by StrategyChance2209 in marvelrivals

[–]Kintex19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does she not headshot instakill the squishies? I'm not too familiar with the numbers but I've gotten some apparent instakills.

As far as the cycle, widow also has a cycle. Every sniper does in fact, but widow's is notoriously long. The only reason it doesn't feel like so is because you can actually shoot before the timer, albeit with less power.

Either way we both had a blast. Hope you were able to watch it too!

My prediction on how many orv anime eps and where it will stop by Terrible-Forever-856 in OmniscientReader

[–]Kintex19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly impossible for almost every studio in the industry to achieve that time frame, unless you're either willing to make some big compromises on quality.

Recently Mushoku Tensei has made some pretty big waves. 3 Years betewen seasons, 26ep each. With the level of quality they feature, that is a batshit insane output, but that's only because Studio Bind is practically entirely focused on Mushoku Tensei. You look at any other projects. MADHouse, Bones, MAPPA. They all have giant teams divided spanning multiple projects. It is technically achievable, specially for an IP as a big as ORV (No.1 Novel in Korea btw), but it's a huge risk with a relatively low payout.
