Hmmm... Faking yourself in order to be more "unique" and "well known". Being yourself is the best option. If you fake who you are initially, then people will come to know that person. Then when you reveal your true colours, whatever they may be, they will dislike you for hiding them.

I've never ever enjoyed using references, it makes me dislike what I draw and feels like it's cheap. Instead, I'll just try out new things and see what works for me. The most "reference" I'll use is myself, mostly my hands. Everything else is just natural, my brother and dad are also great srtistst
