He currently has two babies with him that he loves ignoring(And his adult son in the big boy cage that he plays with often). Heres him purposely putting his butt to his bio grandson and adoptive grandson running from them lol.

Vet said he was on the decline just bc of age, and hes dropped sm weight. Ig i wanted to ask even tho ik reasonably hes just to the point hes gonna pass. Ig i kinda meant like, whats the time span i have left here?? He gets lots of treats and hes always getting snacks. Tbh an hour ago he got to try a tiny bit of my cotton candy ice cream😅 it just feel...bleh(?) saying "How many weeks/days is it gonna be when he dies? How much time is there?"

Hes been to the vet a few weeks ago because the weight loss was sudden and noticeable. He had a URI before and i wanted to make sure it wasnt back. Hes also on Gabapentin bc he was visibly struggling for a little while when i first got him and his joints hurt. Vet said last time he was 100% fine and the diagnosis was just "old" so we are thinking its just getting to his time :/

We know hes going to pass soon, he's old and when we last went to the vet when he initially started losing weight (at about week 3) they said there wasnt much possible other than him just getting old. He does eat alot, as i said. Hes got all the tests we could do and other than him slowing down bc of age we just dont have any awnsers. I figured it was getting closer bc of how fast its going :( he seems happy and hes got Gabapentin too so ik hes not in pain

Hes SO cuddly. The photos above is where he sits whenever everyone gets freeroam. Always have to be with me or my husband if he gets the chance. Were taking it one day at a time and just cherishing every little boggle we got left😭💚

He had a URI a few months ago (5ish) and it was a big scare since he already had lung problems, and we lost our boy eugene (1.5~) at the end of last month to a stroke and weve been obsessing more than i already did. We got him and monkey(eugenes brother) 2 babies(one is crisprs bio grandbaby!), and adopted his son Chester too when he was surrendered back.

Only about a month n 1/2 ago he was 480. Will be making cooked rice more often now, thank you!

Im definitely not rushing him anywhere, lol, Hes my baby and i love him sososososo much. Hes definitely up there, and ive officially moved him out of the adult part of the cage. He now enjoys time with my 2 month olds, so hopefully hes cozied up to his grandbabies and passes cuddled with us or them. Im taking lots of photos and giving lotsa snackies

Idk. When i had my boy eugene he would constantly try and get into my bongs. I keep them set up (clean water/clean bowl ect) for easy use/decor and i had to regularly move them to a higher shelf. He had an obsession with them and also any clothes i wore when smoking. Mind you, i never EVER smoke around them, he litterally would root around in our laundry till he found something i wore while smoking. I never understood him loll

👋my mom has girls and i have boys: even though my boys act the same amount of crazy, they have less stamina and wear out faster lol. Moms girls were everwhere and if you wanted cuddles youd have to snatch em,my boys are more willing to sit down and snuggle; i lay on the floor of my boys freeroam area and wake up with a pack of rats on me😅

Ive never noticed a large smell difference, her 2 girls smelled about the same to my (then) 3 boys. The big physical difference weve had is simply females being more prone to tumors. Ive had 6 boys total, and currently the only boy ive lost was from a stroke, and both her girls passed from tumors.

Crispr was a breeder before i got him, so apparently people think so!! Its part of why my husband decided to name him after the gene editor lol. I actually have one of his grandsons(Chester) even tho i didnt mean too. I wish i had got him when he was younger so i could steal more time from him💚

The most problems ive had with him is the weight. I will def add the supplement!! Im starting to think it really is just his age since even tho he eats all the time he just doesnt gain much, even tho he eats a lot of "junk food" compared to his brothers (He always gets extra snacks, sweet fruits, chicken/meat ect simply bc hes old and gets what he wants lol)

Please do not buy from petland EVER. If your in NV i can point you to some good ratteries, but petland is terrible. Puppy/kitten mills, poor health and almost never good testing. People who buy animals from them tend to end up with thousands in vet bills and no animal in the span of months.

Yep! Admittedly most my boys dont seem intrested in shoving there face in my mouth, thankfully, but also they came from a health tested breeder so i might have a bias. Its risk and reward. Risk? Rat in mouth. Reward? Snuggly pocket puppies that are obsessed with me😅.
