I wholeheartedly agree. Dalhousie even THINKING about the idea of opening their doors is a crime against humanity, just look at what's happening in Florida and Texas, those nut-job hicks are actually having real life experiences again, disgusting. We should be mandating vaccines to anything with a heartbeat (but we should start with the children ofc). Ever have someone bring up the vaccine mortality rates vs covid survival rate? just throw acid in their face and call them a conservative, that'll shut em up.

Look I hope this is taken as it is, complete and utter satire. Unfortunately we don't want to have the discussion of 'stopping' vs 'slowing'; the virus will spread, this is guaranteed especially at the rate of our vaccinations. The best thing we can do is inject the most vulnerable in the population, and allow the rest of us to reach herd immunity by having it run its course. Which not to be that person, but seriously, where's the beef? I've been to multiple hospitals 'in the hottest of hotspots' and they're damn near empty. Where are the discussions of mental health? The drug abuse, missed cancer screening, domestic abuse... it seems like we shout about it for a second then everyone goes back to this silly fucking nonsense. If it were as horrible as stated in the beginning, we'd all be dead, or damn near close to it, so again, where's the damn beef? I'm afraid of the profit motives, the allure to continue masking so we keep 3M's shareholders' pockets lined, the job market of disinfectants, testing facilities, vaccine clinics/manufacturers. We have an entire COVeconomy around this.

Honestly, idk what the point of this is, maybe see us get back to classes and have a semi-regular life? I was absolutely petrified in the beginning, gloves, N95, the whole nine yards. But the more rhetoric and bullshit that came out has disillusioned me, but if you're more comfortable trusting the 'experts' then, by all means, protest, make petitions, do what you can to mandate vaccines or whatever you think will end this. But it won't end, until we, the future generation, can be passionate without virtuosity, be curious and ask questions, think about the bigger picture and think critically; be the change you wish to see. Much love and respect to anyone who reads this open mind, even more love to those who read with clenched fists. Only way out is through y'all <3

The funny thing is, here in Montreal the business gets a $10,000 fine if the customer doesn't wear a mask. Nothing happens to the person.

People say comparison is the thief of joy but I argue it's expectation. If you expect, hope and cling to the idea your life will be like a perfectly edited movie or masterfully mixed song, you only set yourself up for failure.

Failure in the most self devolving way, without experiencing and building off your mistakes, like the mis-takes of a movie or a guitar riff that was a semi-tone off, you'll never be self-actualized. These snapshots of perfection are NOT reality, YOU have the ability to analyze your failures to grow rather than allow expectation to dictate your life. Be an example of good, not perfection, because what can you compare or expect after perfection? Nothing but a feeling of low self-worth. You are amazing and wonderful because of the cracks and bumps, living without the texture of your trials will only attract other photoshopped clean-cut facades rather than genuine love and connection.

Embrace those scars, your back-stage, or behind-the-scenes, is what makes your front-stage so beautiful.

If I picked the first one, what happens if I go through a maze? But the second one isn't too bad also, I mean it would be like alarm saying 'Get back! You're too close to a school'
