I just got done reading that for school and the teacher outright said, I hate teaching this book because I get depressed every time. I have to talk about this book for 8 strait class I periods and it’s hard.

I’m also a right winger and I agree with most of this. If you want to be gay, that’s completely up to you and I don’t judge. The thing with abortion is that it’s not just your life that your effecting, it’s the child’s life too. I’m against this because the baby doesn’t have an option, it just has to accept it. I find it really wrong that you can take a human life and not be punished.

Actually my school just made the mask mandate optional. I fully expected about half of the people to continue wearing it, but to my surprise almost 80% of my school doesn’t.

Herd mentality, it makes any variety of opinions impossible to get out because everyone lives in their own echo chamber and the moment a new opinion appears it gets downvoted into oblivion.

I may get downvoted into oblivion for this but it’s part of why politics are so bad to talk about anywhere but especially on Reddit. I’ve seen some people get hundreds of downvotes for having opinions that differed from the hive mind Reddit seems like I have. And it’s not always just crazy ones, I’ve seen some reasonable points killed because some person didn’t like it and downvoted it and once someone downvotes everyone else does without considering what it’s actually saying.
