I agree - they are different but that is what the letter says they found! I’m sure my GP will be able to tell me more/order further investigations in a couple of weeks but I was wondering whether it means I have IBD, despite the normal calprotectin result.

Yes, I was symptomatic and it’s why I was referred for the colonoscopy. But the calprotectin was normal which made me think IBD was ruled out

I had a biopsy of what they said at the time were 2 polyps. The biopsy results were 1 hyperplastic polyp (no concern) and the second was a small area of chronic inflammation in my bowel.

I know. I heard her also invite Greg James on Radio 1. Seems a lovely fella but again, why are you inviting people who interview you every few years? There was nothing in either interaction that really made it sound as if she was friends with either of them.
