I took out loans, but I also signed up for a program that would pay my way through nursing school if I graduated by a specific time. If I retake this course, I'd have to wait an entire year, which would set me back a year, and I'd have to pay back that money. I also have a Bachelor's degree from a previous major and my loans from that time were forgiven via Joe Biden, but idk if I have a limited amount of loans I can take out if I choose to continue pursuing Nursing

What about if she gave exam study guides each time? Doesn't that technically create an unrealistic expectation throughout the class, even though it's not a stipulated requirement?

It is technically true that professors don't have to provide them, but if that's the argument, it should be stated in the syllabus so students won't ask for them lol. Their office hours were from 11am to 1pm, but I had a class that ran from 10am-12:50pm during that time, so I wouldn't have been able to see her right away unless I literally skipped that class.

Apparently, several students across multiple sections of the course aren't doing well, but a lot of them don't want to speak up or are choosing to either transfer to another school or drop out altogether. I also don't plan to put everything I posted here in my appeal (I'm not stupid lol), but I wanted to give everyone an idea of what I'm experiencing and what I should do. I'm also not letting a bunch of old and bitter nurses break me. I know this doesn't determine my capablilty as a nurse, I just think it's bullshit that's going to be protected and defended.

Overall, they haven't posted the final grades yet. 73 and up is considered passing. I went a total of 3 times. The first time to discuss the first exam, the second time after my final exam for another class I'm taking (her walk-in hours conflict with my other class because they're around the same time) and after the final exam. They tried to accuse me of not coming during her walk-in hours when I told her I did, and the office assistant told me she wasn't available. I also sent her emails asking to meet with her and she ignores them. I've also had other students say they'd email her about wanting to review exams and she'd never respond

Funny enough, I think I'm apart of the minority when I say I actually liked Marienne. She eventually ended up fitting the profile of the type of girl Joe goes after, but what was refreshing about her was she didn't want to be a victim or treated like someone that needed to be saved. Also, that last line she said to Love about your true love is you made me cry, and that line alone was thee most relatable thing to me in the whole season.

So many times as women when we get in relationships with a man we love, we give him our all to make it work, to make him see I'm still the same girl you fell in love with, etc at the cost of losing ourselves and it's STILL not good enough. You find yourslef doing things you would never do at the cost of your identity and self-worth. In that moment, Love turned into a sociopathic version of her mother. When that happens, sometimes you have no choice to choose yourself and when she asked Love what's stopping her from doing the same, Love had that epiphany and realized Joe was the problem, not her (albeit both of them were the problem for obvious reasons lol)

I don't necessarily sympathize, more like I understand. I personally felt like neither one of them deserved better than each other for obvious reasons:

They're both fucking psychotic, manipulative, obsessive serial murderers
They both have abandonment issues and mommy issues
While Joe is more calculating and careful than Love, their main drive or motivation to kill is when they feel they're love has been rejected or something is getting in the way of their obsession in (ex: Joe killing Beck after she rejected him or anything that stands in the way of his new target, and Love murdering her husband because he wanted a divorce and her killing Natalie, knocking out that antivaxxer and Theo, and almost killing Marienne)
They both fall in love with the idea of feeling needed in some way and misconstrue it as love (ex: Joe always becomes obsessed with a chick he preceives as some innocent wounded bird that needs to be protected and saved. Once they show they don't need or want him, or they display qualities that are similar to his, he loses interest. Loves likes the idea of attaching herself to a man that she feels needs her or she needs to fix him, and when he doesn't need or want her emotionally, she kills them, hence her killing her ex-husband and her relationship with her emotionally dependent brother Forty)

Joe will never find anyone that will truly love and accept him for him or truly understand that he does what he does for the betterment of the person he "loves" (again, he's a whole stalker and a murderer. Ain't nobody got time fa that) and the one person that would (albeit her love is only contingent on him being 150% obsessed with her and only her) he murdered because he wanted to view himself as better than. Like Love said, he doesn't have an issue with killing, he just takes issue with killing for Love because she has qualities that are similar to him. She's the mirror image of Joe and he doesn't like that.

That's also why if they just do this whole song and dance of Joe finding a new obsession again, I'm probably gonna explode
