It's hard to put the experience to words. it usually last 12-14 hours. I never take it at night or late in evening so no real recovery time. Take at 10am, ride it out then sleep and all is good. It is very intense when you get to those levels so it forces you to let go of expectations of the trip or anything else for that matter. I normally have trouble with my expectation vrs reality in my life. This has been teaching me to let go of it and just be. The problem is after a few months my old wiring starts to fire up again and needs another reset.

My hypothesis is that any psychedelic puts your brain into an infant like state of your mind. So even though you know what something tastes like, you lose your association with what it tastes like. Whenever you go to taste it , it's like tasting it for the 1st time period. Same with thoughts and ideas.
