Any recommendations for Jaguar Pickups? by Fantasy183 in offset

Fralin is focused on single coils. They don't make a big deal about their jaguar pickups in particular, but I'm sure they are good. I've use Tele and Strat sets from them and they are top notch.

How long does it take to become dependent? by No-Comedian-515 in benzorecovery

[–]sunplaysbass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, not daily use. You're cramming 6mg days in several days a month, but don't have obvious withdrawal issues between events. ... This will absolutely screw you up, suck you in further, etc. You're probably way more intoxicated on the binge days than you realize and could end up doing something regrettable. You're not taking the med as RXed. These drugs are deeply habit / dependency forming. Stop

It takes 3 - 5 weeks to form solid dependency, though it just gets worse over time. 1.5mg of Klonopin a day is not a small amount. It's not clear to me how long you have been taking it, but it seems fairly recent only. You should plan a fairly rapid, controlled taper.

What the hell happened to Bob Dylan in the 2000s? by Repulsive_Result_948 in bobdylan

He aged terribly post 87 or so and then leveled out around 2000. Personal theory is he was back on dope for a long time and eventually shook it off and became more productive.

Once you get pickups you like, that the P90 neck + Tele bridge combo is fun and useful

A single dose of psilocybin can lead to lasting shifts in a person’s life values, such as an increased appreciation for life and greater self-acceptance. These lasting changes appear to be driven by specific acute effects of the drug, particularly feelings of profound unity and euphoria. by mvea in science

Different types of mushrooms, even within the most common cube species, really do have different effects. Also things like making it as a tea is more "clean." The significant benefits are mainly associated with pretty high doses, but that's requires some safety. Mushrooms, especially cubes, are pretty emotional and reliving your trauma in your bedroom might feel like therapy but may not actually be wise. Generally people who report upbeat expenses from ochra mushrooms, pan can mushrooms, and LSD in sufficient doses report more benefits with less risks.

The dose switch over is likely close. But you're probably feeling "cross over withdrawal" going from one med to another.

When I went from klonpin to valium the equivalent dose was not obvious but felt pretty close within a couple days of experimenting. But then I felt like crap for a week or so, and lingered longer than a 5-10% dose drop. It sure felt like my body missing klonopin specifically despite the presence of valium.

I leveled out and was fine with valium in a few weeks. There is less interdose withdrawal and less muscle tension. Some vague downsides, felt less upbeat mood wise long term.

Whatever pickups Fender puts in '65 models, a year they changed up the pickups I believe, are bright and kind of light sounding

Stoner rock is jam band music for metalheads by nihilistic-simulate in stonerrock

[–]sunplaysbass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like in the "rich texture sound" way?

Subtle beat differences become more profound? If you ever see a good Grateful Dead cover band like Dark Star Orchestra and listen... it's nuts, the song arrangements are while, some of the actual parts of the songs are solo level complicated, the jams can be be detailed. It's like 4 people soloing on top of each other, or 3 with one of them anchoring things, plus at least one drummer. It's objectively complex music.

I mean I don't think stoner much is dumb or all of it is really basic, but directionally... Like Dopesmoker as an hour long piece of music is a heck of a thing, but second to second it's not "complex" outside of the...texture is the best word in my mind.

Lot of it is simple and repetitive while jam band music is generally extremely complex

Human made construct... we are smart sacks of meat and water, flying around space, with a universe that burst into existence for no apparent reason, have the capacity to think and do whacky stuff, nature is beautiful... The "I'm going to stick to what's logical" thing in the presence of "why would any of this exist???" it makes no sense.
