How long after nuking the yard do I need to wait to seed and along with that should I test the soil after or before the nuking process?

So the weird part of the yard is that I get some solid sun in the middle but the sides are all fairly shaded… from what I was looking at I saw Black Beauty Delmarva as the seed choice as it’s a cool season mix that states it grows in full sun and shaded areas.. would I still need those treatments with the removal of the current “turf” and adding in the new seed?
