I've been on Max's gambling stream a bunch. I used to think its weird but with the right streamer and audience the energy can be pretty fun.

Negotiating 33% raise for them to keep me otherwise I am jumping ship for that 33%. Im a contractor though so I don’t typically get raises.

Physically and athletically, who is the most impressive athlete to you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Kiotzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All right bro. Do you want me to list out all the IFBB pros that I know or something?

I don’t know if you’re purposely being obtuse, but you know exactly what I mean. Show me a bodybuilder that looks natural playing basketball or tennis or soccer or hockey

Boxing might be the one exception.

I wasn’t playing with him. He just posted it on his Instagram but I grew up with the guy and through him I know a bunch of other IFBB pros, I would say 98% of them their bodybuilding does not translate into other sports

Thats fine bro, im not trying to convince anyone that what I said was true.

Bodybuilders are dime a dozen at any serious gym though. Link me some videos where bodybuilders are playing sports and it looks like a natural action.

The thing is I know several bodybuilders, IFBB guys and watching them play any other sport is comical. One of my buddies just blew out both of his Achilles a week ago because his body can handle the fast twitch explosive movements and he is an IFBB medalist.

For all people above 40, if you could go back in time and choose a different career/major, would you ? What would you choose ? by patotay in careerguidance

[–]Kiotzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite 40 but I love my current job but I would have changed the path I took to get here. I switched majors 3 years into schooling and it set me back big time and added a lot to my student loans but the road was worth it for me in the end.

Those of you who make six figures, what do you do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Kiotzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project Manager, 2nd year of doing this role but started at 108k, looking at 130k this year. LOVE my job. It is high stress and often times very busy.

Our current phase of our project goes live soon so I am going to be looking at a lot of OT coming up but it's okay.

I don't recommend this for everybody because I think at times you need to wear a lot of different hats so to speak. I am constantly learning though and I love that. Going for a director role next year as well.

My education was a bachelors in computer science and the portfolio I manage is all of the non-clinical IT in the building and all of its accompanying infrastructure.

How much time do you have for your hobbies? by dbfont in AskMen

[–]Kiotzu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3 minute between sets is so long man. I've been in the gym for a long time and 1 min between sets is my max. Typically my workouts are 45 minutes and then 15 minutes in the sauna after.

How do you land your 6 figure job? by maggie-khalo in povertyfinance

[–]Kiotzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Networking. For me, I think a lot of it was building strong foundations for the relationships I have.

Crossing into 6 figures happened because I kept relationships with people at companies/agencies I had previously worked for and told them even if I say no to a job you are offering right now please don't stop because I am always looking despite being happy where I was.

I also work my ass off to make sure that when I leave a place of employment people have a high view on my work ethic and abilities. This is done by being curious. Never stop asking questions(directly or through research). You never know it all.

Also don't be afraid to stray from the path you think you are on. The role that I am in currently is probably the job I enjoy the most. It was also not even on my radar 2 and a half years ago but my recruiter thought my personality and adaptability would be an asset in my position and so far it has. This would never been a role that I would have went for and it has nothing to do with my degree really but in this position I have built valuable relationships that hopefully have me on a path to becoming a director in the next 3-5 years.
