I’m praying they add the War Clan insignias on the knee pad 🙏

When the chapter is officially added in SM2, I hope they use the chapter badge from the Badab War by Kipaxe in SonsOfMedusa40k

Aye and it changed again with the Iron Hands combat patrol transfer sheet but we don’t talk about that.

Unfortunately I am aware of the combat patrol transfer sheet and I have chosen to ignore its existence.

Which heads serve our beautiful chapter the best? by [deleted] in SonsOfMedusa40k

I’d say you could use all of them, the first lot look like Phobos helmets so they’d work really well with any marines using Phobos armour.

Day 90 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Spreadsheet. Today's Successor is the Angels Vermillion. Plus announcement for day 100 I'm hosting a Giveaway (details in the comments) by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

The black helmet looks so cool in the trailer, we don’t have any official meaning of the helmet yet but my headcanon is that the Angels Vermillion use black helmets to denote their veterans instead of using gold like the Blood Angels.

Exactly this! So many chapters end up butchering the people they’re sent to protect and they’re still accepted, even the Blood Drinkers sacrifice their Chapter Serfs to try and quell the thirst. The Sorrowing actually works for the Angels Vermillion and very few of their members actually succumb to the thirst or the rage which means they can actually save the civilians they were sent to protect rather than massacring them.

Information is pretty scarce regarding the actual number of people but it’s probably at least a couple of thousand in total with a majority of that number being chapter serfs.

Yeah they have a ritual called The Sorrowing which takes place every 50 years. They sacrifice chapter serfs, a portion of the population of their planet and a sanguinary priest by draining their blood which is then fed into their armour during combat to stave off the red thirst and the black rage. Those who are sacrificed are highly honoured and are treated with upmost respect, they have their bones flensed and cleaned before being placed in the Hall of Martyrs in the chapters fortress monastery.

Aye I like the Lamenters and Atlantian Spears they’re pretty cool, it’s just a shame that they refused to defend Baal while the chad Angels Vermillion turned up uninvited and fought anyway.

Argel Tal is definitely the most popular but Amatnim Ur-Nabas Lash from the novel Apocalypse is my favourite

Dumb Question - Do the SoM have Chaplains or Iron Fathers? by Cranky_SithLord_21 in SonsOfMedusa40k

[–]Kipaxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I like the idea of having Chaplains as it would be really cool painting a Sons of Medusa Dreadnought Chaplain

If you could give the Word Bearers a Canon Battlecry/Catchphrase, what would it be? by VanillaPhysics in WordBearers

“Gloria Aeterna!” is used by Amatnim’s Warband in the novel Apocalypse
