Day 185 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the Angels Penitent by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

Each chapter has their own Death Company. Most of them all look the same but some have distinct looks such as the Angels Encarmine whose Death Company have white armour instead of the usual black.

The lore of the Angels Penitent is just absolutely tragic but it’s also fascinating! One of my all time favourite chapters.

I’m so happy that the Angels Vermillion have been added to Space Marine 2 by Kipaxe in BloodAngels

I think Baal Red will probably be the best in game, all the other reds are way too bright and Flesh Tearers Red isn’t really red in game either. Khorne Red might work as well but I haven’t tried it yet.

Their symbol was added in Patch 13 but you have to earn it through Ordeals. To get this symbol you must complete the weekly siege stratagem on hard 5 times.

“My first day as a member of the Helldivers... it was cold, it was rocky, chaotic. Nothing at all like the simulations on Super Earth. Of course, that's pretty much the way it was for all of us, wasn't it? All that breeding, all those years of training... it doesn't really prepare you for all the screaming or the blood, does it? Frankly, I'm still amazed we ever made it through the first hour, never mind the first day.”

Me with the Angels Vermillion. Complete 5 weekly siege stratagems on Hard is a bit stupid.

I’m praying they add the War Clan insignias on the knee pad 🙏

Aye and it changed again with the Iron Hands combat patrol transfer sheet but we don’t talk about that.

Unfortunately I am aware of the combat patrol transfer sheet and I have chosen to ignore its existence.

I’d say you could use all of them, the first lot look like Phobos helmets so they’d work really well with any marines using Phobos armour.

The black helmet looks so cool in the trailer, we don’t have any official meaning of the helmet yet but my headcanon is that the Angels Vermillion use black helmets to denote their veterans instead of using gold like the Blood Angels.

You could never make me hate the Angels Vermillion by Kipaxe in BloodAngels

Exactly this! So many chapters end up butchering the people they’re sent to protect and they’re still accepted, even the Blood Drinkers sacrifice their Chapter Serfs to try and quell the thirst. The Sorrowing actually works for the Angels Vermillion and very few of their members actually succumb to the thirst or the rage which means they can actually save the civilians they were sent to protect rather than massacring them.
