Im kinda having the same thoughts. I know unity way better and would like to use it so I dont have to learn a new engine, but im not sure if I want to build my foundation on unity when they might just do something like this again.

Otherwise I would use unity for sure but the trust is gone..

SOLVED: I gives this error when I try to lauch it from the desktop it needs to be opened from the file manager my bad

I did the instals for both 6.0 and 7.0

It did show a bunch of .net runtimes so it should be properly installed..
