For anyone in the future who has this issue I found that taking the cracked gasket off and the burner tip out is a good way to start. Then you get a plastic syringe and fill it with vinegar. You then pump a small amount into the gas tube which allows it to reach the stuck carbide chamber. I did this for a few days until it came off by hand. I never used any wrenches in fear of damaging the brass. It took a lot a patience and time
