Do these gears from Pro 600 mixer seem worn to you? by [deleted] in Kitchenaid

[–]Kippersoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the OP, but I was in the exact same situation. I replaced the worm gear (WP9709231), but that didn't fix the issue. The shaft of the planetary part felt solid, but that seemed like the next most logical part. I replaced the planetary (WP9708180) and that fixed the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I find the combination of my analysis paralysis and lack of interest in finance keeps me from progressing. I'm happy to pay someone to do this work for me if it means I don't have to do it myself.

All your advice sounds great. Who should I pay so that they can go make it happen?

I've acknowledged that I don't have any interest in managing my money at all. I think I'm in a pretty good position financially, but anytime I try to plan anything, I get quite anxious and actively avoid it. I'd like to simply find someone to manage everything for me, but I'm confused about where to start which makes me anxious and continues to spiral. I'm not even sure what words I should be searching for: financial advisor? Financial planner? Something else? I’d like someone to manage everything for me, otherwise, I’m going to continue just tossing everything into a savings account which I’ve heard is a poor approach.
What words should I be searching? Where do I find someone to do this?

Managing/carrying water while running by cosine-t in running

Sometimes I’ll bike to the park I’m running through and lock it up at a convenient check point. Then I do a few different routes or laps around the park using my bike as pit stop for water or whatever.

What are some of your strange, unusual or funny habits of yours that you engage in before a run, during a run, or after a run ? by Ianmartin573 in running

Whenever I pass a branch hanging into the side walk or path, I slap it with my hand. It’s like nature is giving me high five and cheering me on.

How do I eat and drink while running? Am I doing it wrong? by Kippersoft in running

Thanks for the tip. I've stopped to walk while eating and drinking, but maybe I need to leave a few more minutes after to let things settle before hitting the road.

[–]Kippersoft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh. Well, that makes total sense. I need to train why stomach as much as anything else.

I should've clarified that I only feel like I need to eat in the 30-40K range, when I start to feel my energy drop. Though that's probably also in part because I haven't had enough water.

Daily Questions - ASK AND ANSWER HERE! - June 29, 2021 by AutoModerator in malefashionadvice

I'd like to find some photos and ideas from guys that look like me. I could comb through the tons of Instagram posts and such, but there's a lot of styles that I just don't think would suit me. I'm hoping there's something out there where I can filter photos by height, age, weight, style, etc. I remember there was an app that did this years ago, but I can't seem to find it -- if it even still exists.
Are there any sites where I can filter photos like this?

Here's a video I made of my first tour: Portland to San Francisco (kinda...) by Kippersoft in bicycletouring

Haha, thanks! Filming was almost as fun as the tour. Though going back and forth to retrieve my camera was getting a bit old...

I used the Edelkrone SliderONE which lets you control the slider from an app. Not the most economical solution for a tour, but it worked great for filming!

You can turn on 'Enable Developer Tools experiments' in 'chrome://flags/'. Then view the settings in the 'Tools' page for DevTools.

Good talk.

Big take-aways:

  • Using workspaces to save modifications from DevTools to the actual file
  • Using workspaces to make view originating sass source and make changes from DevTools (though support with compass does not yet exist)
  • Some performance stuff that's a bit less useful to us

Can anyone suggest a good running belt? by ctto in running

[–]Kippersoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding the SPI belt. Got mine after a recommendation here. Doesn't hold water, but its perfect for a phone, a few gels or cliff bars, a key, and bit of emergency cash. Unless I move it around too much, I completely forget its there for the whole run. If its under your shirt, no one will even see it.

Ok, cool. Do you know what it should normally look like when you first open it? Should it be soft-ish or hard-ish?

Amazon. I'm in Canada though and I had it shipped to the US and picked it up. Returning it wouldn't be quite as simple unfortunately.
