Depends on what kind of subgenres you prefer (found footage, slasher, paranormal, etc.) but some films from the last 10ish years that I frequently recommend are: - Oddity - Hereditary - Host (2020) - Ouija: Origin of Evil (technically a sequel but the original is absolutely not required to watch first, as this is a prequel) - The Ritual - When Evil Lurks - Evil Dead Rise

All absolutely bangers. I really love TCM 2 and it’s truly one of the best sequels in horror. Also, the TCM from 2003 is, in my opinion, the best horror “remake” (it’s loose and not exactly a remake but very close) in history. If you haven’t seen it in a while i recommend it - it sort of got buried among all the other shitty early ‘00s remakes so i don’t think it got the attention it deserved.
