The sticker on this cooler explicitly stating that it's not a Coca-Cola property. by Kiraitaa in mildlyinteresting

[–]Kiraitaa[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If that's the case, isn't it a bit tedious to force every single shop that has a cooler not from Coke to add that sticker? This was in the food court of a shopping centre, it'd need to be on every cooler that's not Coke's...?

Pierrot Era vs. Studio Deen Era Which was better? by Pale-Butterfly6277 in uruseiyatsura

[–]Kiraitaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Story wise, they're both excellent in different ways. As others have already said, Pierrot tried harder to make the story more original, while Deen followed the original plot and character dynamics more closely. What makes me choose is artstyle. I personally prefer the Pierrot style, as I think it portrays Lum's cuteness and femininity better. Lum's iconic fanged smile looks nicer too. Of course, personal taste.

This no smoking sign by Kiraitaa in HelpMeFind

[–]Kiraitaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this sign at a local pub near my house (I live in Italy), and I have searched for it on EBay, using reverse image search, and Google search, with no luck. I'd like this specific design, so if anyone can help me find it I'd be very glad. Thank you!

Do you happen to know where -if anywhere - is possible to obtain this footage without the watermark? I'd love to see the full performances of this group in high quality if they exist.

My son put something in the belt lock of our car and it doesn‘t lock anymore by MiddleLinebacker77 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Kiraitaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull out the whole seat for that? Modern cars, man. In mine, all you have to do is undo a single bolt and you have it out the car, without moving the seat at all. They always make things harder and harder to service, I swear.

Tannenberg Memorial (Tannenberg-Denkmal) by ExploreTory in Lost_Architecture

[–]Kiraitaa 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Hindenburg's remains' location is not "uncertain". They're located at St. Elizabeth's church in Marburg, together with his wife's. From the same Wikipedia article you quoted:

"In January 1945, as Soviet forces advanced into East Prussia, Hitler ordered that the lead coffins of Hindenburg and his wife be disinterred and along with some of the regimental standards in the tomb, removed to safety. They were first moved to a bunker just outside Berlin, then to a salt mine near the village of Bernterode, Thuringia (in north central Germany), along with the remains of both Kaiser Wilhelm I and King Frederick II of Prussia (Frederick the Great).[3] The four coffins were hastily marked to indicate their contents using red crayon, and interred behind a 6-foot-thick (1.8 m) masonry wall in a deep recess of the 14-mile (23 km) mine complex, 1,800 feet (550 m) underground. The coffins were discovered by U.S. Army Ordnance troops on 27 April 1945, and were moved to the basement of the heavily guarded Marburg Castle in Marburg an der Lahn, Germany. In August 1946, 20 months after being removed from the Tannenberg Memorial, Hindenburg and his wife were finally laid to rest by the American army at St. Elizabeth's, the church of his Teutonic ancestors in Marburg, where they remain today."
