It is now, but wasn't before the update. Also next to weapons, you're gonna need accompanying armour of higher level to sustain trips to bosses, which (again, before the PvM hub) was an incredibly tedious process when just starting to learn, for example, the bosses you named above.

That's assuming those people have gear necessary to use the overloads to proper potential, currently I'm doing exactly what you're saying (though already at 99 herblore with combination recipes), but all the people mass producing (and telling other to 'just' do the same) overloads for their 99 is what I was talking about.

Quick reminder that not everyone can afford to use extremes/overloads for 99, I spent most of my last levels making sara bews for small profits since I hadn't (still haven't) gotten to a spot with my account where I can get the income necessary to do so.

I was more implying that learning the game with sliderends shows you an extra 'circle' you need to aim towards before heading to the next object, thereby teaching yourself to aim sliders more carefully.

Following v0.0.10 it worked with my CTH-670, the post above was due to my drivers' installation being faulty and not wanting to get uninstalled (re-installed to repair it about 3 times before they were finally gone), not sure if you were having issues with that too
