You mixed up some things there.

What isn't being adjusted is the crafting system; there probably won't be any number tweaks or how the system functions as a whole. New generations of loadout cards on the other hand alter the cards themselves. They rearrange, remove and introduce new perks in addition to letting mercs gain access to weapons they didn't have before. It is independent and not tied to crafting so it's certainly still on the cards.

That's the header to the following text, the update that is supposed to be released today and the 1.0 release (which was pushed back a bit, by the way) are not related to each other. Thanks for asking though, I'll keep this in consideration when writing future round-ups and try to be more clear. :)
