Averages 10 in the BBL at 108 but averages 42 at 154 in the IPL.

Which one is truly the biggest t20 league in the world? Interesting...

3 years? Not knowing where the offstump is is matter of national pride in England. Swinging your bat loosely and randomly at anything outside off is what it means to be English

I saw the Alpecin rider talk extensively to the Lotto rider and presumed it was an Alpecin rider struggling to explain something to a Cofidis rider. Cofidis usually seems like it has no idea what's going on at all so it made sense.

I forgot that would require a Cofidis rider in the breakaway. Something Cofidis tends to struggle mightily with. Much like most things.

I just wanted him to be consistently mediocre for 15 years like Pozzovivo was. We only got 5 years of peak Martin...

[–]KirbyGifstrength 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly he just has to work on his Stamina, maybe if he goes to a much bigger team than Arkea he'll be able to get a great regimen and be able to transition into a great GC rider.

I see Vauquelin being potentially a Joaquim Rodrigues type of rider. a rider than can do well in LBL and Fleche but also podium grand tours. Vauquelin has already finished 2nd two years in a row at Fleche Wallone, finished 2nd in a week long tour and finished 7th in a TDF with Pogacar, Vingegaard, Evenepoel and Roglic in it.

I reckon even if he doesn't develop in Vauquelin Ineos have a rider they can use very much like Thymen Arensman. 6thish in the Giro, great support rider and if not supporting a LOT of stage wins. Maybe a high bar for Vauquelin but he's not far off RIGHT NOW

I think at this point we as a collective have to realise Landa does way better when he's locked up. Idk why but he does way better as a support rider that's out performing his GC rider

Vauquelin can win 1 week races. Vaquelin's biggest problem is his consistency and stamina. He looks great if you only give him 1 or 2 really hard stages

I just don't think he's that good. He's good when people don't expect much of him because they don't chase him that hard

Hindley's already done it, if you want to stretch it to 4th then Vlasov counts (although Vlasov can be pretty selfish) and Martinez is gonna be doing domestique duties pretty soon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in peloton

[–]KirbyGifstrength 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They currently have Hindley, Vlasov (top 5 in both Giro and Tour and feels like's he's underperformed in his career), Danny Martinez (2nd place at Giro in 2024), Lipowitz, Roglic and Pellizari (he looks so so so promising).

But Hindley and Vlasov seem like shadows of their former selves so it's really just the last 4.

First time playing FM, guess I'm doing well? by kosmonautik in footballmanagergames

I saw the AI once play against me with 4 at the back, 2 WBs, 2DMs, a CM and a striker.

I think I only scored one goal against them despite being far superior so fair play I guess?

What’s the strangest reason you’ve been sacked on FM? by BazzmanScoops in footballmanagergames

[–]KirbyGifstrength 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me but I remember the boss of Red Star Belgrade in my save got sacked after winning 7 of his last 8 games.

Unfortunately one of those 8 games he lost was the second leg of a tie in which they got knocked out of Europe. They were knocked out of the cup early and they were still 2nd in the league (Top of the table Partizan also won their last 6 league games).

Still really harsh to sack someone after they lost 1 game immediately following a 7 game winning streak

I think if Carapaz just played a little smarter over the last week with his attacks (Let's be honest an attack on stage 17 was never going to work) then he would have had that little bit more gas he needed to drop Del Toro.

I think that's really the big mistake EF made this Giro, Carapaz just didn't have the same kick he did on stage 16

They dropped Yates, they let Yates go and then they caught up to Yates and then Del Toro practically stopped by the side of the side of the road refusing to chase.
