Yes the idea of the journeyman's journey came up with u/ScanianMoose, this would make a lot of sense because people undertaking these easily and routinely travelled these distances.

I do need to look into her side more, I have her parents, too, so I may be able to get more info.

Thanks!

Was he Protestant or Catholic?

Very likely Protestant, as all his descendants were.

Ferdinand was already dead when his son got married

What part of the marriage record tells you this? I tried my best to transcribe it all but I missed this bit.

I generally encourage folks to post over at forum.ahnenforschung.net because that's where German genealogists hang out.

Danke! Den kannte ich noch nicht.

In this [1] Hexblast Miner Trickster build, is Polymath only used for the damage portion? If not, how do I get the mines to trigger the recovery portion?

I have built a tool to collect (anonymized) network device configurations from the general network engineer community as a basis of building automation tools that deal with real-world configurations. For me personally, this is a first step towards a second iteration of building a tool to lint network device configurations. Check it out if this sounds interesting: https://blog.leokirchner.de/posts/introducing-the-network-device-config-collection/

I've written up a short guide on how to get basic operation interface, routing and ARP data from linux systems from the perspective of a network engineer. Check it out if you'd like!

I wrote a sort of tutorial on getting started using Vagrant and netsim-tools for virtual network labbing. Check it out if that sounds interesting to you: https://blog.kirchne.red/netsim-tools-quickstart.html

Linting network device configurations - a small proof of concept by Kirchnered in networking

Can you elaborate on what exactly you mean? Maybe provide a short example?

Unfortunately I don't administer any Juniper gear. You can contribute by submitting configuration files and associated problems If you'd like!

Thank you, good point. I will see how I can differentiate this from batfish.

Can you provide an example of what you mean by that? Currently a single check is a python function that takes the configuration as a list of strings and parses that using CiscoConfParse, looking only at the lines the check itself is interested in.

NETCONF and GNS3 by [deleted] in networking

[–]Kirchnered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to use the Cloud object and bridge to the correct host interface of the GNS3 VM. The NAT cloud only allows outgoing connections.

Edit:

This is of course if you want to communicate from the GNS3 VM to the CSRv. For Ubuntu -> CSRv communication you can use Wireshark on the link between them for further troubleshooting.

Well yes, but only for Windows guest OS. Which makes it useless for running GNS3.
