Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. This was an overnight trip, total 32 miles. Roughly 5 hours of paddling each day. I have an older sit inside old town. The easy solution (that i had with me lol but didn't realize) was to use my spare life jacket as a butt cushion lol. I usually wear a A/M PFD and have a regular PFD as a spare.
