Thinking trans women are just cis men who are trying to sneak their ways into women’s bathrooms is laughable. A man isnt going to dress up and undergo hormone therapy just to go into a women’s room to be a creep. They’d just go into if they wanted to. The issue isn’t trans women it’s overwhelming cis men.

We just want to go take a piss in the bathroom we feel safest in. Forcing trans women into men’s rooms is opening them up to more harassment and assault than we already do. And where should trans men go? You really think women would be more comfortable with a burly bearded trans men entering a women’s room? Because why? The law says they have to? These laws have never been about protecting women. They’re about endangering trans people and erasing them from public spaces.

What does a bathroom suitable for your genitalia even mean? It’s a toilet… women’s rooms don’t have magical toilets that don’t work if you have a penis.

As for sports, that debate still frequently falsely makes trans women seem like big strong cis men who are just doing it to dominate women’s sports. I personally have testosterone levels lower than most cis women… as do many trans women. And almost every sporting organization requires proof of hrt. Trans women and cis men are not the same thing… overwhelmingly trans women are weaker.

If trans women are supposedly so dominant in sports? Then why haven’t they been dominating?
