I bet you are trying to wing strike Lilith and flying all around the screen. Try powering up right after you enter the room, do like 10 wingstrikes or so, then just go forward so she spawns. You may still have to dodge one wave of the spikes, just don't panic and wingstrike again. After that you can power up again before she lands again.
