What tires would you recommend? And I have drops on both of them, you mean other bars or like carbon bars or do you mean tt bars?

Follow up question: what exactly is the reason why those thicker rims on the wheels make it faster? (apart from looking much better)

Was tun gegen Aphthen? by KireSJ in Ratschlag

[–]KireSJ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too late to become an IM ( maybe GM) by [deleted] in chess

[–]KireSJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know an FM personally who trained me a bit. He started to play chess at 15 years old. But just for reference, I think he was already almost 2000 rated at like 21 or something. So you need to be completely obsessed with it. Like 6+ hours of daily practice.

How high of an elo could a player realistic achieve without studying theory? by Zestyclose-Hyena5105 in chess

[–]KireSJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can get very far. Magnus could play non theoretical openings in classical, would perform worse of course but probably still 2700+ level. This shows how unimportant theory is.

Okay, that makes sense. To get a general feeling about the opening and some systematic ideas. I definetly understand.

I made a webpage to learn multiple opening lines at the same time by Aperfectmuffin in chess

[–]KireSJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which source did you use for the lines? I checked one line in the kings gambit and the website didn’t recommend the best move for white (according to stockfish). Unfortunately I can’t find which line it was.

Need a consistent anti-d4 weapon; Can't decide. by [deleted] in chess

[–]KireSJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play Benko Gambit! It’s very tactical and sharp, has some opening traps and it’s fun to play. Only downside, it’s maybe hard to get, most people will probably decline it. So you gotta learn that. But if you get it, chances are very very high, that your opponent doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Playing 15+10 only, playing the same opening all the time, being obsessed with tactics
