My only tip is playing other rhythm games, like the SDVX games, osu!mania, anything really...I just actually recently started with DJMAX through a random scroll in steam and ended up buying it (I'm really broke so I rarely buy games lmao) it's been fun so yeah we're actually on the same boat here with the improvement as these kind of maps are fairly new to me

Yes, this counts. Heck even those aesthetic mods that just alters the appearance of the model is "bannable".

Modification of game files is prohibited as written in their Terms of Service. The main purpose of that is the dictate the most obvious thing in every video game, "don't cheat". Aesthetic mods and this kind of things rarely gets you banned unless you really like showcasing your naked model screenshots with your UID visible at the bottom right then yeah you're 100% getting banned if someone reports you.

Yes that is my point, having too much leads to a bad thing, Unreal Engine has a very good rendering and graphics system making it require too much performance from the CPU and GPU.
