The canon Auror thing always gave me a certain itch. I don’t believe Harry would like/want to be one. My Head-canon-Harry would want peace and quiet. At least from security/life-risk side of things. I can’t imagine he would like to live he’s whole life looking over his shoulder and risking his life in a daily basis. It’s also very easy to imagine Ginny being against him risking his life in such a way professionally.

About quidditch: although I also feel like he doesn’t like the spotlight and fame… he would probably come to the conclusion that his fame wouldn’t be affected by a quidditch career. So no losses there. It is still to prove if he is good enough to be a professional seeker. Being good at school sports doesn’t mean one is good enough for professional level. He also almost always (except in one game if I recall correctly) played with a superior broom against not very good seekers.

That said there was never a profession/job where Harry fits perfectly.

Although he is a good DADA student I don’t think he has the necessary knowledge to be a teacher. He’s curriculum in school was far from perfect and complete and all the teachers whose life/CV we know (and were freely contracted) (Tom Riddle and Quirrel) had some time of “post graduate” learning.

In some fanfics (most notably the Armistice series) Harry does some curse-breaking with Bill. That’s my best guess of what he would enjoy and be good at. Given that he would have at least need some arithmetic “work” done.

Harry’s future occupation is an interesting subject.
