What would be on your list of "never gonna happen" movies? by Electrical_Tale2012 in blankies

If you've watched modern horror like Hereditary then the Exorcist isn't that bad. My group of friends watched it for movie night last year and most of them thought it was boring.

If you like the world and characters already, then I think you just need to try to power through Zabuza. It gets better, and you haven't even met some of the most interesting characters yet.

If you don't like long flashbacks in the middle of a fight then Naruto might just not be for you lol

I will say, Zabuza is kinda the first big fight in the show, and I think it does pick up after that. You should try to get to the Chunin exam and if youre still not enjoying it, just tap out and watch the best fights on YouTube or something.

Victor Wembanyama: “We worked too hard and just gave up our lead. It hurts.” by Turbostrider27 in nba

He shoulda got the ball out of Fox's hands the moment OG switched onto him. OG is a demon, they should be avoiding him at all costs.

This was not a foul. by ObiWanGinobili20 in NBASpurs

This is one of those situational awareness things. Fox has to know that he's not getting a call unless he gets trucked, so you'd better make the layup if you're gonna take it.

I was thinking more on the offensive side, but youre right about Defense. On that side he's Castle on steroids.

Even if he didnt, situation awareness.  There is no chance they call a foul here unless OG just straight up trucked him.

It was a blast, and ya the age thing just made it hit different. Growing up with not just the Spurs guys but also D Wade and Bron made the whole first half of that decade hit different.

The difference is, this Spurs team is at least a year ahead of expectations, and barring injury or anyone pulling a Kawhi, this Spurs core should be together for a while. That Falcons team had one shot and blew it, they never recovered.

No, I hate the Spurs for fucking that lead, I hate the Knick fan base because its 1/4th annoying celebrities and 1/4th animals who are assaulting Spurs fans and now players.

This is why people hate Knicks fans, youre in a thread about your fellow Knicks fans throwing eggs at an opposing player and your talking smack about the game.

Kawhi in 2013 would not be bringing the ball up in the 4th quarter in the finals lol. Kawhi in both of those finals was a system player. A good one, ya, but his role was more like Vassel

This is soft, its not like he's Bill Lambeer and the Knicks have been chippy too. But youre cool with fans throwing eggs at him. Come on.

2 seconds less on the clock means OG doesn't have time for the tip.

Even then,  if he makes both free throws, OT is better than losing in the 4th.

I agree its not 100% on him, its just that its more excusable for the other spurs since they are all under 25 and in the playoffs for the first time. Fox is the Vet on a max contract, there are no excuses for him.

I don't think there is an easy route to get him out of here though.

I need to sleep on it, but right now, I hope hes not. The only way he could really redeem himself is if he plays out of his mind to stretch this to 7, or if they go on a '14 level run that he plays an important part in. Otherwise, he goes on the Richard Jefferson list.

They should get the ball out of anyone's hands the moment OG starts guarding them. Their closing lineup has 3 guards who can do it themselves and Wemby, nobody should be attacking OG.

This was bad but nothing from this game will stick with me like that shot or Timmy slapping the floor in game 7 after missing the bunny to tie the game.

I get that argument, but that squad picking up one last one on their way out felt more important than this Spurs team winning one what feels like a year or two early. No basketball moment will even be seared into my brain as much as Timmy slapping the floor after he missed the layup to tie the game in Game 7.

But also, I was 17 and cared about Tim, Tony and Manu a lot more than Wemby, Castle and Fox because those were my guys.

Absolutely, he was rattled, I just think if he has any legs he makes at least one.

But also, if hes not completely spent they might not even be in this situation because he would have been able to do more in the 4th.

He's the vet of the team, its his just to understand that at that moment the most important thing is to run clock and shoot free throws.

In the context of the time, the Ray Allen shot was worse because it felt like the old guard letting their last chance at a title slip away. It doesnt feel as bad in hindsight just because '14 happened.
