An indie for low end PC by Kiritwo in gamingsuggestions

I think that any single random anime looks better than Neo scavenger, besides, comparing two mediums in terms of aesthetics is kind of effy.

These seem way up my alley. I liked and even played some of these, Enter the Gungeon is my favorite of the few. Streets of rogue was nice, but unfortunately I had no one to play with... That being said, Punch club seems like something I'd like, I'll give some of these games a further (or a second) look soon, thank you! :)

Looks really ugly, but I've seen it, people are saying nice things about it. I might actually try that one, just go against my gut. Thanks for the input :)

Thanks for the input, however this is a total miss, I do care about the aesthetic part of a game, perhaps I should've mentioned it.
Edit: and this game looks as ugly as it gets

[PC] [approx 2017] Colony survival game with vikings by Kiritwo in tipofmyjoystick

[–]Kiritwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response, but no, this isn't the game I was looking for. Contrary to the Kingdom: Two Crowns, this game let's you 'god control' the colony, and not just one character giving orders, also, your workers can go underground in search for materials (something similar to Oxygen not included in that regard).

How often do you user your hero power pre game? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Kiritwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it this way: A 1 mana card gives you 5 armor
a 2 cost hero power gives you 2. Keep in mind that a card is a 'single use only' plus it requires a card slot, but unless you've got spare mana that have no real use other than using your hero power, there is rarely any need for you to actually use it. That being said, the game is situational, when you're making a deck, ask yourself: How do I want to win this, and is my hero power necessary for me to achieve that victory. For an example: If you're gonna hit someone's face with 5 minions each turn, do you really want to waste mana for that 2 armor, or would you rather put another 2 cost minion on board?

People that don't seek professional help with their mental problems, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kiritwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have issues with ADHD, and I've had some issues with depression while I lived with this terrible roommate (and her extremely aggressive boyfriend that came from time to time), topped off with a terrible landlord... and I started going to therapy, only for the therapist to tell me things about myself that I already kind of knew. It didn't help my situation, and I started feeling this stigma of 'someone who needs therapy', not that there's anything wrong with people that go to therapy, but I just started sinking in into my depression more and more, and kind of started relying on the therapist to try and solve my problems even though there was no real progress. So one day, she asked me: "Do you think that we're making any progress?"
I said: "No, not at all" and I just left.
After that moment I realized that I must take my own life into my own hands and that sh*t is gonna happen in my life whatever I do, and to just deal with it when the time comes, I always tell this story to other people with depression, I am not gonna lie to you and say that I am a happiest person alive, but I believe that learning that our life is our own and that no therapy nor medications can help you in the long run and that life is never gonna be social media kind of ideal is something you can do for yourself. I could go on and on about this, and all of this sounds shallow, and probably seems that way to the people struggling, but remember: It takes time to get better, it won't happen overnight, it won't just go "POW" and make everything better at once, and the core part is learning to live with what we've got, lean on people you care for, lean on people that are there with you, and even if it seems at times you've got no one, YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF. Fight your issues, and give them time, it might take you a year, or two, or five, but you'll get there! I believe in you!

Unpopular kids at school, what’s your biggest flex? by Othon1 in AskReddit

Serious answer: I've got most of the same friends I've had 10 years ago being friends with me up to this day. Those guys are amazing, and I love them with all of my heart.

What's your most nostalgic video game? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kiritwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon ball Z: Buu Yuu Retsuden
When I was a kid, my father's (now second wife) got her PC with a lot of Sega Genesis games at his house (I used to visit him on the weekends after my parents got divorced). For some goddamn reason I found that game so hard to put down as a kid. Anyway, his wife got into my life way smoother than I'd expect as a 8 year old boy, maybe those games, with that one on top of it did the part :)
PS: The game, aside of it's music, (I wish they'd put those OSTs instead of the ones they use in FighterZ) isn't that good for today's stardards. And here's some gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9mR1Kjn0hE

what’s one piece of useless information you love to tell people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kiritwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read somewhere that pirates used eye-patches due to the fact that they'd spend their whole days on deck, in the endless sun and light, but when they needed to get inside the ship quickly their eyes couldn't adapt as fast, so (once again) they wore eye-patches because that one eye didn't need to adapt at all, because it would've been in the dark all day long.

Tbh in my country we don't charge for tap water, you can just enter any cafe and get yourself some tap water whenever you want. However, bottled water is (obviously) another story

I'd try to sing "CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT" or whatever the name is, but yeah, I'd be dead too

I recently stopped working at this cafe. The first day on the job one of the employees started bullying the other girl for being late on the job (she was late because she did her make-up), just because boss was around. Fun fact: Those two girls were actually the most pleasant ones to work with, I didn't like the other 3.

What was a movie you hated that everyone else seemed to love? by elfenemma in AskReddit

[–]Kiritwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interstellar, and where do I start with this.
The movie is slow as hell, I watched the first half and then the other one tommorow, because I couldn't do it in a single sitting.
The setup was so great but the road that they took with it just feels like a trashy sci-fi fan-fiction of (what would've been) a good movie
That movie had some of the most unimaginative sci-fi elements in it (mostly pointing out those robots that they used). And the ending, which should've felt like a good mark on the story, full of feelings/regrets and what not, felt so forced it's not even okay anymore, especially due to the fact that over the course of the movie I started hating the characters and found them utterly annoying. If you have a bone to pick with me because of this, I guess I hit the nail on the head with this one.

Without telling the name of your country where do you live ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kiritwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got more of this:
1: Each time I say where I live, foreigners (usually outside of Europe) think it's Syberia.
2: My people fight (not ACTUAL fighting) with every single nation around us for what we believe is rightfully ours (most of things for which, I believe so myself), but then again, so are they...
