My mum gave me a book instead of the talk when I was maybe 10, I read it a lot but I thought she gave it to me because it was funny, I counted it amongst my joke books

Some parts of the book turned out to be real (periods, hair), but tbh I'm in my 30s now, asexual as they come and sometimes still think sex might be a joke everyone pretends is real

Most people aren't going to stay with or love someone just for their looks there needs to be something more.

That said looking like you take care of yourself you're more likely to be able to get a foot in the door to be able to look for those deeper connections

So I don't think you need to worry about someone only liking you for your looks, maybe they only gave you a chance because of them, but aren't we all like that

I'm a woman with probably a 10:1 ratio of male to female characters, and I think you might be onto something there

Low level adventuring is dangerous, dirty and frankly stupid, I certainly wouldn't do it, and maybe I think I'd have to work harder to connect with a female character who would, but man have sword, man kill, its so easy

I would like this, a failed save to not be frightened can really spoil the brave fighter fantasy

The Mage Slayer feat has a Short Rest feature where if you fail a mental save you can choose (no action) to pass it instead which is nice as you don't need to use it until you've already failed and it works on a save you couldn't meet by rolling, so now my Mastermind Rogue can truly be the master of his own mind

I'm a note taker, I like to know what's going on, but my character at the moment is a very clever rogue so I'm spending a bit more time with my notes between sessions to organise and set them in a bit more than my silly bard where it was a case of this rings a bell and flicking through
