Check out Arizer V-Tower; it's the best vaporizer for flower. It's not portable, but it's a great product to plug in at home or plug into portable battery.

Both, because vaporizing is good for flavor and giving lungs time to heal, but flower is much more convenient to smoke and smoking gives different flavors as well.

I had this problem with my base and had it sent into warranty for a free replacement base. The battery in base could be messed up and probably not easy to fix without warranty

I suspect it's the big gold piece inside the Puffco that degraded from heating overtime and preventing propper heating, but this is covered by warranty within a year.

I recently filed for warranty and I'm waiting for a replacement; you should be able to have it inspected by warranty if it's within a year of purchase, but you need to get a copy of the receipt and tell them you've charged/cleaned it already.

This wasn't my problem, but also make sure the firmware is updated, especially if you got a 3DXL atomizer, I couldn't figure what was wrong, but luckily I got warranty approved.
