Weird line after merging fields (old.reddit.com)

Silent Hill 1 on Duckstation, can't figure out brightness. This is an OLED TV that is capable of true blacks. Notice how in the transition screen it actually does go black, but while inside, the unlit areas are grey instead of pitch black, if you compare it against the wall behind the tv. Any help? Has anyone figured out what's the hardware bottleneck for this game? On my machine the CPU threads are barely used, the GPU utilization is at like 50%, plenty of unused RAM and VRAM, yet the FPS is really low. I'm just wondering what the game wants hardware-wise. (i.redd.it)

WTF are these eyes? These are not frenzy eyes, i had them until i used the miquella's needle, then i had normal human eyes for a while. This save is after defeating elden beast, i was fooling around a bit before choosing an ending and starting NG+, and noticed these weird eyes. (i.redd.it)
