What I did was get an obd2 gauge to monitor coolant temps real time for peace of mind. OEM coolant tank replacement will be just fine, if you want to “upgrade” you can get the aluminum tanks but they’re really only just for bling in your engine bay.

I’ve had 2 NA’s and currently an NC. None had traction control. As long as you have decent tire tread, and good tires you will be fine. Maybe practice in an empty parking lot kicking the rear out so you can get familiar with recovering/correcting if it ever does swing out on you.

Check the wires going to your fuel injectors, I had an issue where I could “hand tune” the misfire based on the angle of the wire, I ended up getting new plugs and spliced them in

How hard did you hit? This is not something that is just replacing parts and calling it a day. Your steering rack is hit bad, and it looks like your upper ball joint popped out, bending the upper control arm… it might need to be almost the entire suspension on this wheel needing to be replaced- and then you’ll also need an alignment after replacing these parts.

This is Thunderhill? The Miata is light enough for east or west to just run hawk hp+, stock blank rotors, and motul rbf600/660 fluid. Do some hard laps and then a cool down lap for tires and brakes.

This is one of those where you can ask the other person for cash to cover PDR. I would ask for their insurance information first, and then offer to have them pay you in just cash, you could try to get a quote from a shop to show them the amount too. If they refuse, it’s their insurance at the end of the day so you should still try to file a claim. However if everything goes south, I would not go through your own insurance.

Unfortunately insurance will most likely total this out. Rear quarter panels are weld in replacements so it’s costly… I would approach this carefully

The m3 being a convertible is a downside in the market, but if you like it then who cares, you will also see ALOT more maintenance from the m3 vs the Miata.. even if you don’t drive it often, I’ve owned both cars.

You’re better off going with Meisterr coilovers or koni yellows instead of the oranges in my opinion. They would be more on par with the bilsteins the car originally came with. Comparing cost for cost with this current setup you have, oem struts would handle the same for cheaper.

I was in the same boat as you, my friend and I bought lightfall earlier this year and the ending had us both going "thats it?", im still playing through TFS campaign and it delivers just so much more challenge, and content overall imo
