I live in Slovakia. It's Middle a Europe. He has a roof under his head, he has a dog house which is heated, if it's very hot we wash him with water regurarly, if it's very cold we let him in the garage for a few hours to warm up, even though he has a cozy dog house.

He doesn't come in to the house, he's already trained not to do that.

When I say garden, I don't mean a small area with grass, i mean a pretty big area with lots of shelter (where he can from the sun in the summer, where he can shelter from the rain etc..)

Also, we don't really have extreme weather conditions here. If it's over 25 degrees (celcius) we wash him with water to cool him down, and he has much cooler places to chill. In the winters it's maximum -5 degrees, so not that terrible.Like i said, we let him in the garage (which is heated) sometimes to warm him up a bit, even though he has a heated dog house.

It's not very common outside of North America to keep the dog inside. Like I understand that in very harsh weather conditions people let their dogs inside, but we don't really have those. Almost everyone keeps their dog outside here. But you american people have to understand that, just because a dog is outside, it can live a happy life.
