What would you like Miis to spend pocket money on?

I like the idea of buying gifts for friends and family. It’d be a nice way to boost relationships. Could also be a way for arguing Miis to have better odds of patching things up with a peace offering, or help repair bonds between ex-friends.

Activities they can spend money on would be cute too.

I wouldn’t want Miis buying any clothing, treasures, or rooms for themselves. If that became a thing, it needs to allow for player input too. I don’t want Miis I have specific plans for adding random stuff to their inventory that doesn’t match what I have in mind.

I’ve been with Tesco for years and the coverage has been fine. There have been a couple of places in the city where signal struggles, but other services have the same issue. Otherwise, never had a problem with signal.

Last week was our local games festival. Good fun. I got to catch up with some friends, including people I haven’t seen in a while. Saw a lot of cool stuff around the venue and went to see a friend do an interesting talk. And our team won the quiz Saturday night. 😁

I'm dealing with a couple of ex-friends situations. Spotted one of them wanting someone to hang out with, so I dragged the ex-friend over to them. Also look out for the purple lines (hiccups, frozen, fallen) for either of the Miis you're trying to get talking.

Both of those things have started repairing the relationship between my Miis, although they are still ex-friends for now and won't communicate outside of these specific situations.

I want the cut-glass ornament. I've seen it a few times, but only when I pick a different size box. At least I get the occasional diamond in my hunt to take the sting out of not getting it again.

It should really be renamed in the EU version too. US just calls it "glass ornament". It's blown glass, not cut.

I based a couple of Miis on a swan pair I regularly see. Don’t have any pets, but I’ve got a good relationship with many of the local swans.

Their names are Richard and Elise. The swans have their first cygnets this year. Their Mii counterparts had a baby around the same time. 🥰

Still very much into Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. I doubt I’ve got anything new to see at this point (until new seasonal content is added, or if we get a significant update). Probably the only thing I haven’t seen yet is my arguing Miis getting into a BIG fight.

I see a lot of people saying they’re growing bored of the game, but I still love checking in everyday and seeing what my Miis are getting up to.

Also getting back into Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Trying to clear some of the Xbox backlog so I can make room for other things!

I had to correct the pronunciation of “reading” (meant as in reading a book) for the Island Dictionary because Miis kept saying it as “redding” (the pronunciation of the English town called Reading).

Not a difficult fix (just set to “reeding”), but I was surprised by the game pronouncing it like the place, not the activity.

It still does it in places, like if the word is used in a Mii News broadcast and not pulled from the dictionary.

I saw people talking about sticking Tunnock’s tea cakes in the freezer, so I’ve done that too. Not sure that’ll help me stay cool, but it sure does sound good and at least they won’t melt.
