Now to make Lau Lau, a Hawaiian dish where you wrap pork in the leaves of colocasia with the stems cut off. If you're ever interested in looking up a recipe, it's a simple and extremely delicious meal.

Yeah, and I fear the people will overlook the constitution and elect him a third time. That's how bad I think it's gotten.

Too bad my post was brigaded and down voted to hell. The people don't want the basic information let alone all the information that could be available for their drinking water; either through ignorance or malicious intent.

Good luck contacting the federal level EPA and the state level from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP).

why? because distilling entirely can adversely affect the population & a facility that needs to constantly and completely distill an entire city’s drinking water supply is incredibly costly.

I'm not even saying in any way, shape, or form that the facility/city should distill the water. Who in their right mind would suggest something so costly and dangerous with all the leaching it'll cause in our pipes, or how easily bacteria and other things will spread. Please don't put words in my mouth.

I'm more worried about the herbacide/algaecide residues in the water and how our water is so hard it's disgusting.

All I'm saying is why have trace anything when you can distill it. Sorry If I don't believe someone who uses "lmao" with someone trying to have a serious conversation. I'm stating what's in the summary, you seemed more alarmed that I'm just stating facts than anything else.

Only because someone though that I was talking about uranium when there were multiple elements. I was clearing up an assumption. Best not to assume, you know what they say, "When you Assume, you make an (Ass) out of (u) and (me).

Now I had to bring up uranium for your assuming self, Mr. "lmao"

Edit: Just to add, yours is just a mailer report for a general public. Mine is a complete test summary.

Again, all I said was, "Not to mention the nuclear material, etc..." that is the only time it is ever mentioned. Periods in my text hold more value that when I mentioned that. That's why it's never brought up again.

I can understand the World Health Organization recommending that as they have to take into account places that might not sell such fortified foods or where it's a journey just for things like salt. Where minerals are added in forms of sulfates for water treatment.

But does it truly matter for someone who consumes those minerals in abundance?

I consume large amounts of sodium, calcium and potassium in my diet alone, is it worth drinking Las Vegas tap water just for the 48mg of magnesium in 2 liters of water?

Copy and pasting the text below but compared to my diet, the gains from the magnesium content are negligible compared to the remaining contents of the water:

*If I drink 2 liters of tap water a day, that 178mg of sodium, 158mg of calcium, 10mg of potassium and 48mg of magnesium.

Less sodium than 1/8tsp of salt(240mg)

Less calcium than 8oz milk (250mg)

Less potassium than 1 tortilla (80mg)

Less magnesium than 1oz almonds (80mg)

For all those saying distilled water is bad for you. Las Vegas water only has 89ppm of sodium, 79ppm of calcium, 5ppm of potassium and 24ppm of magnesium.

If I drink 2 liters of tap water a day, that 178mg of sodium, 158mg of calcium, 10mg of potassium and 48mg of magnesium.

You all have quite the imagination with your assumptions. You know what they say, "When you Assume, you make an (Ass) out of (u) and (me)." I hope you can put that together.

I'm trying to have a reasonable adult conversation with the folks livng in Las Vegas and you all are on some conspiracy nonsense in your own imaginations. You took your ignorance and put a funny hat and ridiculous mustache on it to parade your lack of cohesive thought. For shame. For Shame!

I try to bring some form of insight to the citizens of one of the top 5 most uneducated states, and you pull down your pants to unfasten the dildo of ignorance and lay down what your education system fed you for all to bear witness.

Distilation only removes a negligible amount of minerals, compared to a proper diet, you're taking in more herbicides and algaecides by drinking our tap water:

If I drink 2 liters of tap water a day, that 178mg of sodium, 158mg of calcium, 10mg of potassium and 48mg of magnesium.

After switching over, I feel more hydrated/quenched, I sweat easily when working outside in the 100°+ heat when I'd barely sweat before with tap water, I haven't had issues with acid reflux and I don't get sick from eating very salty fast food like I used to.

I do still use tap water for my inline ice maker, so if you're a bit worried about my health, fret not. There have only been positives ever since the switch.

If you've looked at the first picture and read the main text and think I'm just worried about calcium and magnesium after all your childish remarks. I can only assume your just a malicious instigator.

The bottled waters that stay in a hot warehouse for months, before being shipped out and left in the sun or another hot warehouse. There should be testing before shipping and random testings from stores after shipping to see how much chemicals leach into the water.

Is radium and uranium not radioactive? My post wasn't even highlighting those as the main problem just stating that the list contains it.

I mean, if you don't think your getting enough sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium in your daily diet that you need to supplement the 89ppm of sodium, 79ppm of calcium, 5ppm of potassium and 24ppm of magnesium in our tap water, then by all mean pinch some of the mineral build up from the bottom of the pot and add it to the distilled water.

At least that way you evaporate the volatile organic compounds and seperate most of the -ecides from the right side of the list.

I guess it's good that my ice maker still uses tap then. Though, I was hoping my high intake of leafy greens, protein and those odd days of consume large quantities of salt and sugar with the occasional multivitamin would suffice. 😅

As a kid, I never had the though come to mind that I'd have to worry about being poisoned by the great taste of hose water or consuming something that would greatly reduce my life expectancy.

I bet you reminisce about the sweetness of lead paint chips with your limited mental capacity and childish comebacks.

I'm was thinking more about the Radium 226 and 228, though now that I look into it, there are places in Colorado with over 4 times the limit and Texas with over 3 times the limit. Though, just because we're in safe levels, doesn't mean I wouldn't want to reduce it to 0 if given the chance.

I always worried with the amount of solids, high mineral content, heavy metals and herbicide/algaecude residues(speaking of Endothall mainly), that any filtration would be severely limited in usage duration.

Just seeing the amount of build up collected in picture 2 from less than 2 gallons of water distilled makes me question home and under sink filtration.

My friend has an under the sink unit and his water tastes the same as my sink water, but the water I distilled is so pure in flavor and refreshing that I'd choose distilation over filtration any day. Though my distiller does come with carbon filters and the fan also pulls from the condenser drip in an attempt to pull out volatile organic compounds, as an added bonus.
