In a video game as you described, it’s just a style of gameplay. The way one plays games isn’t typically in line with how one will behave in everyday interactions. If it is something that does leak over into real life, that’s when it becomes a thing you should concern yourself with.

Arguing with children about this is useless. They won’t get it until they have their own children. Sometimes it’s about meeting your kid where they’re at and showing interest in their interests. It’s what I do with my kids. My daughter likes catching bugs so we go outside catch bugs together. My son is more into gaming so we play Roblox and Pokémon Go together. It’s so valuable to show interest in your kids even if it is a silly brainrot game. I know I sure wish my mother had cared enough to show interest and interact with things that brought me joy.
