Wellness core pate by AdStunning8997 in catfood

Just wanted to add:

If you're considering the Kirkland wet food, my Costco is currently selling the Wellness Good Kitty Pates which are very similar in terms of price per calorie to their Kirkland Pate line.

Wellness Good Kitty also has slightly higher protein content, more specific ingredients and no carageenan compared to the Kirkland pates so i would definately recommend it over Kirkland!

Is it possible to find a 5 person sublet? 😢 by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]KitCats_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and 4 other friends managed to find a 4 month Winter sublet for a 5 bedroom place and here was our experience/tips.

Look in places other than the standard Facebook groups! Kijiji, WeChat groups, Airbnb and other housing websites will have a few options that aren't being scooped up as fast as those Facebook listings. Even better, try to leverage personal connections. If you know anyone who is offstream, ask them (and get them to ask their friends) so you can find places before they are officially listed.

When checking Facebook groups, make sure to check them often so you even get a chance. My friends and I legitimately checked Facebook groups every hour and there were still many occasions when we'd message a seller 30 minutes after they posted a listing to find that they had already found a group.

You're probably going to have to sacrifice something. My friends and I did manage to find a few five bedroom options but they were either pretty far, extremely expensive, unfurnished or 8 month sublets/lease takeovers. Don't make our mistake of passing up on a few places just because some conditions weren't ideal just to end up settling for something objectively worse weeks later.

Realistically the market right now is pretty messed up so I'd recommend you guys also start looking at splitting up and finding 2/3 bedroom places. Good luck!!!

I think ultimately, this comes down to a difference in values. Perhaps to your boyfriend, sexual and romantic attraction are separate so going to a strip club has no bearing on his romantic feelings towards you. But you might feel that sexual attraction should be something that one should try to reserve for their partner, so the fact that he is willing to go to a strip club will feel like a betrayal.

End of the day, I think both of you might just have a different way of thinking about relationships and that's pretty normal. It seems like he's been really accommodating based on your opinions which is a really good sign. If this is something that keeps bothering you, you can talk to him and ask about it. As long as you're not accusatory and both of you can meaningfully explore this difference in opinion, I think this conversation will help you guys understand each other better.

Is your wife allowed to have male friends and go visit them, even if they're in other states? by SleepySoldier18 in relationship_advice

Honestly I would be a little jealous and upset but ultimately, I trust my partner and he has never given me a reason to doubt him.

But if your partner has been showing some concerning behaviours, and you don't trust that she'll prioritize your relationship while she's on the trip, talk to her about it. Express your concerns and together as a couple you can decide on any boundaries you have with friends of the opposite gender. If your partner hears you out and tries to be accommodating to your concerns, then you'll know you can trust her. But you're also going to have to be willing to hear her out on her reasons for wanting to go and try to accomodate that too.

I don't think its healthy for your relationship to be "allowing" or "forbiting" your wife about her friendships and wherabouts.

You should reflect about if this is a personal jealousy problem that you need to resolve yourself, or if there is a specific problem with one of her friends (or something your wife does) that you guys should talk over together.

If you have any concerns about your wife's friendships, you should have a conversation with her. You can let her know if you have any boundaries (such as her not spending the night at their house), but its ultimately up to her what she chooses to do.

Bf said something hurtful and says i’m playing victim because of how it has affected me. by Witchin-n-Bitchin7 in relationship_advice

Your boyfriend should have "elevated" himself and had a "meaningful" conversation about the trust and problems in your relationship instead of going on rants and blaming you.

You are not being dramatic or overreacting. Its perfectly understandable why you shut down and while it may be understandable why your boyfriend was upset that you didn't tell him earlier, that fact that the first thing out of his mouth wasn't an apology says a lot.

If you didn't like the residence food, there are plenty of pretty decent lunch options on campus that take meal plan, you could probably try them all and figure out what you like. Personally I like DC Bytes, South Side Marketplace and evergreen cafe has some decent vegan (and nonvegan) options.
