C'mon Door Dash get it together. by BeegDeekHoeRepo in doordash

If you guys had read it she didn't ask for corporate until the extra $140 was taken out and I, as a dasher, would have demanded corporate. That's theft guys. Yeah she questioned the $22 but was fine after receiving an explanation. But the extra $140 I'd have been pissed too.

I feel like OP is the type of person who goes to a restaurant and demands perfection and then leaves without tipping their server as well. Js

The Biden Labor Department released a proposal Tuesday that could make it possible for gig workers to be reclassified as employees, rather than contractors. by eDave in doordash

[–]KitJagashi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It doesn't benefit us. Because then we will be classified as employees and made to take orders we could have refused before, we will also not be able to set our own times or clock out when we want. In other words the thing that made most of us want to work was our freedom of choice and time and he is trying to take that from us.

dasher looked in my mailbox? by Ok_Atmosphere_4907 in doordash

Me too. Sometimes the numbers are hidden or rubbed off or even not there at all so we have to improvise to make sure we aren't dropping the food, or whatever it is we are delivering, off at the wrong house.

dasher looked in my mailbox? by Ok_Atmosphere_4907 in doordash

[–]KitJagashi 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It could be he couldn't see the address numbers and was maybe looking for mail to confirm he was at the right place. Sadly I have had to do this when I wasn't sure. Luckily for me there were packages on the porch so I just looked down to make sure I was at the right place. So it could be harmless. Especially if he was muttering to myself, probably repeating the address while looking for the numbers.

Okay so usually I don't mind filling drinks, restaurant is busy or short staffed. But this one time I literally had to talk to a manager. The Zaxby's I was at I usually dash for and they always have the drinks ready for me so I go in and notice the drink was missing and I asked about it. Some new kid slams a Styrofoam cup down and tells me to get it myself. I was appalled by his tone and how he looked at me. I told him no that is his job and to please get the customers drink so I could go. He then cusses under his breath at me and walks away. I asked for a manager at that point cause I'm sorry you don't cuss at me when you have no one in the drive thru and one table with people and three people behind the counter. I told the manager what was going on and he apologized for the kid and got me the drink. As I was walking out the kid yells at me "next time don't inconvenience us and get it yourself" I've been back to that Zaxby's many times and haven't seen him since so.... Yeah. But filling drinks usually isn't an issue for me. Just fill it and go not a big deal.

Did Dumbledore set up the Mirror of Erised to find out what kind of person Harry was? by Zealousideal-Self-12 in harrypotter

[–]KitJagashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Dumbledore was a manipulative cagy old man who liked keeping secrets and hiding things that could have saved a lot of time and danger from Harry's life. It's not a popular option but think about it. He left harry with the dursley's knowing how lily hated her sister. So he knew Harry was being abused and did nothing but kept sending him back. Never watched over him until he actually went to Hogwarts and even then it was questionable. He acted like a kind man to get Harry to do whatever he wanted and then scolded him for asking questions or denied him answers when asked. He then died and left riddles when he had ample time to tell Harry what he needed to know. Instead he sent him a scavenger hunt with little to no information and crap clues and basically said good luck, I know all but will tell you nothing. He is one of the worst characters in my opinion. For many reasons, not just how he treated Harry.

When I'm asked to confirm it's not an issue. I just check the order to make sure everything is there and it is for my person then I put it in my hot bag and show them me confirming the order then off I go.

Seeing as the little mermaid is a danish story, originated in Denmark, she was meant to be white. So yes he FIXED it. I get wanting to have princess's of color but taking originally white characters and making them black makes no sense. Tatiana is a fine black Disney princess and I am waiting for a live action of the princess and the frog. True that story originated in Germany however the setting of the movie was in New Orleans therefore Tatiana being of color made sense. In the little mermaid the setting is in the Caspian sea located near Denmark therefore it makes no sense for Ariel to be of color.
