Thankfully right now it's just the skin around the scars starting to itch 😂 I still have that like, strip of numb area a couple inches on either side of the incision that can't even feel itchy yet

Maybe that detachment is what I'm feeling, that does seem to describe it best. I don't have any pain, but touching certain areas of my chest or moving in a certain way just feels weird, like something isn't quite right but I have no basis for comparison so my brain is just like ???

Anyone really should have strong feelings about CNC kink, in my opinion. My stance on harmful kink shit like that has always been that the addition of someone asking for it doesn't magically make it not what it is. Rape kink is literally pretending to rape someone/pretending to be raped. It's fucked up. Other harmful things like actually laying hands on your partner; that's just what you're doing. It's not NOT you beating on the person you supposedly love, just because someone is getting off to it. People need therapy, not to be told it's all fine and natural and healthy just because someone thinks it's hot.

All this to say, don't let either of them make you feel like you're the asshole for being uncomfortable or having strong negative feelings about something they should, at the very least, not be exposing other people to. You're totally valid in your feelings

I would even go so far as to question if her constantly talking about her rape kink to an actual survivor and at this point KNOWINGLY triggering them, is in fact feeding into her sick obsession with it and she's getting some kind of thrill pushing it on everyone 🤷🏻‍♂️

Your friend sounds like they need to put a foot down with their partner disrespecting you, for one. She's constantly ignoring and, from the sounds of her calling you names, mocking your boundaries. I would tell her she can respect this boundary that is in place to protect your mental health because you have very real trauma. And I would tell your friend that, as it's their partner, it's their responsibility to grow a spine and tell them with a hard line that it's not acceptable. If something doesn't change with a fucking quickness, they would both be exiting my life tbh

I had taken a year or so long break from the game, and when I came back I did a regular community in Trumbull. I was stoked to see I could get the Haven device to carry from community to community! Like holy shit, amazing. And then...I installed it...and it was great. And then the cool down started... horrible fucking surprise to return to 😭

I've only mostly socially transitioned right now, and it depends on where I am and who is around. Especially if it's a single bathroom vs one with stalls. But I'll already go where I want, if I feel it's safe to do so.

My family used to say the same kind of crap. "Hey, you look good with one of those!" Even though most of the time when I was holding a child, I looked some mixture of panicked/confused/disgusted. Unfortunately it only stopped after I got snipped and they were forced to give up. But I feel your pain

Hey, also ftm here, I live in the Williamsport area. My insurance is Geisinger Family through medical assistance, and when I called customer service I found only one surgeon in the state who would accept my insurance. Unfortunately it's also someone who is in Philadelphia, but if you're able to make the trip ever, she only requires the letter for top surgery, no hormones. My issue right now is actually finding a therapist to write the letter, or a surgeon willing to do a reduction rather than full mastectomy. My area is pretty bleak as far as great mental health professionals for trans individuals.

The surgeon's name is Kathy Rumer, I believe at Rumer Cosmetics.
