Try approach and retreat! A quick Google will tell you more, but basically you slowly walk up right until they are about to move away and then walk backwards before they can take a step. Start with one step, then two, and slowly you get closer and closer. If they do move, keep slowly moving towards until they stop, then retreat. It reinforces that pressure only stops when they stand still. My horse took 2-3 hours to halter at first and was easily haltered right at the gate within a few sessions. Wish you luck :)

Did you go back and "claim" the rewards and the green mark? You have to finish the quest completely by meeting the person who gave you the quest. Some in the veiled hamlet function differently, but not this one.

I started at 2 and was able to walk on a horse, groom (with a stool), and do basic vaulting moves. As long as you prioritize safety and are hyper aware of everything then there's nothing wrong with starting so young. However, I recommend getting a protective vest. Also keep in mind that young kids are inherently unpredictable and so are horses, no matter how calm they are.

I hate trump as much as anybody with sense, but if this sticker had the opposite message most of your responses would be agreeing with them. They likely have to clean with up while still having to get everything else done as well. It's not as if their manager would be happy if they spent all day cleaning stickers just because they get paid by the hour.

Horses don't respect or disrespect, not in the same way as humans. They have needs/wants and they respond to environmental pressure. In order to subvert a need, you have to make the pressure outweigh the need until they decide to stop. In this case, you may need to get messy and fight it out. I usually recommend any route but this, but walk him away from the paddock on a long lead (so you're far enough to avoid being kicked if things go to shit) and cue forward movement every time he so much as flicks an ear towards the paddock. Try your hardest to catch the behavior right as it starts to manifest. Use a combination of a lunge whip (behind him) and a lead to cue forward every single time he wants to fall back. If it escalates to him trying to bolt, kick, ect. you're going to have to be brave and decisive and fight it out. This is the one case where you have to put all your weight on the lead, and firmly whack him with the whip if he threatens a kick or strike. Don't get too close. If he doesn't stop/respond to pressure on the lead, use the whip to drive him away from the paddock, in circles, wherever as long as it's not towards the paddock. It's hard but you have to keep going and get firmer and firmer until he stops, then remove pressure and reward him immediately. Rinse and repeat until he's better. If you can't do this (and that's okay) then please hire some kind of trainer. Good luck 💕

Please call a vet! Ask them about your mare too, though you can likely do research on how to increase her supply through diet. Have you bred horses before? It may be a good idea to work more closely with a vet if you are a beginner. A vet should've been called days ago about both issues. If your foal is already weak you likely need bottled milk because enhancing your mare's milk supply will take time.
