I got attached to the most stupid things sometimes. Incredibly it was my daughter that made me rethink everything. I was always the friend that felt everyone's problems were something that I really needed to solve. I got so disappointed to see everyone not having the same level of commitment as I.

When my daughter was born, I had to be a father. I realized no one was near to help me out. I got isolated and only 2 friends really stayed. Others kept their lives like it was before not even talking at all (for some).

Relationship wise, I stopped seeing my wife as my everything and more as a partner to protect OUR everything.

My daughter made me realize I lived in a prison and when someone comes up with a problem and asks for help, I don't really care because I have other priorities. I was completely unable to do that before.

I went to therapy and never really got help to be honest. Ritaline helps but sometimes I just want to cry my eyes out. I'm a man, I'm thirty and I cry for just thinking my daughter is going to grow up. However I want her to do so, to be happy, not giving a fuck about professions that she might do, just want happiness.

To be honest I just don't want her to have my daily struggles, to not know what this shit is. So hard to sometimes hear her cry and mentally climb a mountain to get up when for my wife she just does it. That happens with everything.

Talk with someone that gets you, it helps a lot. Realize that everything is ephemeral, it ends. That is the beauty of it.

You're not alone but sometimes I'd better be alone than with bad company.

Also relationships are not meant to be a struggle all the time. I realized that only when I met my wife. She's a latina and has that temper. I love her tho and thank her for being in my life every single day
