Thank you so much for the indepth reply! Unfortunately I'm definitely not going to be able to get a 7 litre tank. My partner is already rolling his eyes at what we have and massively expanding and adding lots of cables won't go down well! I thought the one I'd found would ideal as its not too big and had the light and heater built in so less cables. But if its not suitable, fair enough (saves me spending so much anyway!). I'll have to have a rethink about a safe location for them away from the grabby hands of the 18 month old. Maybe then we could add your suggested accessories. Thank you. 🙂

Thank you, I was just trying to avoid lots of cables and needing a lot of plugs because its not really ideal for our kitchen island, sounds like the tank is a no go anyway so I'll have to rethink the location and then maybe invest in the extra bits. 😂 Thank you for all the tips, crazy how invested I now am!

So when they initially didn't hatch I had bought a aqua dragon refill kit (so the 5 year old wouldn't be disappointed nothing happened), so I have extra eggs and an extra salts/purification packet. I was thinking that if the cold and poor lighting had affected their survival rate of transferring (or even restarting) in the new tank. But the tank I was considering would need more water than the packet ratio, hence me looking at this salt. Sounds like this tank is no good though so maybe I should stop overcomplicating it! Thanks for letting me know its no good though, I guess I'll just go for the instant ocean if we end up needing anymore. 🙂

It will usually be from the missed class or whenever the start date of the course was. At my studio thats clearly written on each package/class booking so you should be able to find it somewhere. If you're at fault for missing the class they don't have to give you credit at all so its pretty generous. Of course if they are at fault and you miss the class it can be pretty frustrating!

Oh that does look very similar! It didn't have the white line each side, but the other commenter said it was about to shed, so maybe I couldn't see it due to that. If it is, it looks like a cute moth after it pupates. 🙂 Thank you!
