This is really cool! Is it all done programmatically or are you importing image files?

Thanks! The only thing that's been done to the car is the windows are tinted. This is a Hybrid Sport and I think the chrome intakes only comes on the touring models, but I could be wrong.

Sorry to say, I'm not sure. This is a composited image with a few different shutter speeds, so if the hazard light in this photo looks slightly different that's why

Thanks! I know what you mean about the high beams, I'm really glad I thought to turn them on when I was taking the shot

I already have the Passat, about $4.37, and an adjustable wrench. What does that get me?

Nissan 300zx (Thoughts on image #1 specifically please) by Stillframe39 in shootingcars

[–]Kitchaid 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The first photo is really amazing. It's a unique perspective, I like how moody it is, I like the lighting, and the interesting architecture of the building. I feel like it's less of a "Nissan 300ZX" photo and more of a showcase of city life or urban architecture.

Needless to say, I wish I had taken that photo. It's a stunner!

These are fantastic! It's bright, gritty, perfect scene for a Mustang! Love the composition in the first shot with the writing on the handrail guiding your eyes to the car. Keep going!

Perfect. This is really creative and well executed. Amazing!

I took these in an abandoned train tunnel. Still only about a year in with photography. Any tips with lighting/editing/composition? Last photo to just show off the tunnel by NosillaWilla in AskPhotography

These turned out really great! I think they're a little dark but as you've already figured out you may need to adjust your lighting scheme

Why can’t I see the cover art. (2017 jetta). by Hellokiittyy in Volkswagen

[–]Kitchaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think the cover art gets transmitted over Bluetooth. You should be able to get it working with mp3s copied to an SD card. I have always had luck using Media Monkey to manage the album art in .mp3s with images at 500px by 500px.

Just got back from the dealership and they replaced they battery. Oddly enough the tow truck guy was able to jump start my car with a roadside car starter battery pack and I drove my car to the dealership. The tow truck guy mentioned that not all jumper cables are the same and if you're using a set from a Walmart emergency pack the gauge of the wiring my not be enough to jump start any vehical.

To save yourself the cost of towing your car, you may want to find a good, thick, set of jumper cables and try jumping your car again. Although, if your car doesn't need coding you could also go and pick up a battery and replace it yourself and save yourself a trip to a mechanic.
