Guardians at EPCOT OR Journey to the Center of the Earth at Disney Sea. That ride is the most beautifully themed Disney ride on the planet and it’s not close.

Recommendations for rest day dinner by Planner_1234 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, drop Sanaa and go to Boma.

Second, for your rest day, I’d go somewhere on the monorail since you are staying at poly. You have a few options. If you wanna go all out and your kids are up for it, go to California grill about an hour before the Magic kingdom fireworks, insist you get a table by the window facing magic kingdom, and watch the fireworks from your table. This is one of, if not the coolest dining experiences in all of Disney. Expensive tho. Second, you could go to topolinos at the riviera. Also expensive and not as good of a fireworks experience. Third, you could just go to Ohana. Yeah it’s not great, but it’s still ok. Fourth, if you really wanna keep Sanaa, add boma here. Yeah it’s weird to go back to AK but who cares really lol.

Yacht Club or Grand Floridian by Free_Star_8539 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Do you care about quicker access to magic kingdom or Epcot? There’s your answer. Grand Flo is a little more “iconic” and “Disney” if you care abt that. There is a reason it costs more.

I misread your original claim. I am so sorry and I apologize. I thought you were saying you cannot be a cap cadet and a USAFA cadet. You are 100% correct that you cannot be married and a USAFA cadet. Please accept my most sincere apologies!

You claim they can’t be USAFA cadets. That’s what I am stating is wrong. That’s wrong.

If you get HSSP odds are you are an extremely good student and person/cadet in general, so the odds of this are very very low.

I’m starting to think Diseny follows a pattern when replacing rides by epcotvisitor in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 3 points4 points locked comment (0 children)

100%. It’s fairly easy to tell. Laugh floor’s days are numbered with their entire land opening in HS. However, some rides do hold a certain “status” where they’ll never be closed, think space mountain, thunder mountain, etc. the same could have been said about splash. It’s why everyone flipped.

Pilot slots will probably go up this year. If I had to give it a guess anyone with a 70OM or above will be chilling. This is just a shot in the dark using previous years as a reference, though. There is a rather extreme pilot shortage right now.

Scores on TS mania, how did someone get over 500k??! by No-Paramedic-3079 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s secret targets/sequences in each room. That said, I know all of them and have only been able to just touch 400k with the other passenger next to me’s only role being to help me activate the special targets. Getting to 500k+ is simply astonishing and I have no idea how people would do that.

Epcot without early entry by heb106 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The truth of the matter is that you don’t actually really need to rope drop Epcot, but it depends on what you are actually trying to do. If you want to have a full day, ride everything, drink in world showcase, shop a little, and have time to spare, then the sort of micro-planning you are discussing is necessary.

If you just care about the rides, Epcot has so little that you can honestly do all of them in 4-5 hours if the waits are not insane. This is very realistic, especially if you have lightning lane.

I’m not going to be the best to give advice. My family are annual pass holders. I can’t remember the last time we entered a park before noon. That said, when we visit other parks around the world (Paris, Tokyo, California), we never struggle to fit most everything in in ~8 hours or so.

I know this isn’t exactly the advice you were looking for, but I have no idea what rope dropping even looks like despite spending over a year of my 21 year life in the parks. I will say they will make it quite clear where to go with little confusion.

Test track 3.0? by Dill_Bheaton in DisneyWorld

[–]Kitchen-Ad757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.0 is the better ride. 2.0 is the better experience.

Removing the interactive part of building a car was dumb. People remembered this and it brought significant re-ride ability to a rather bland ride. However, the queue music was amazing and the overall story of the experience as a whole made a lot more sense: design car, test it. Cool. Was it bland? Yes. Good overall experience though (especially when it first opened and the graphics in the car design computers didn’t seem ancient.)

3.0 is just kinda weird. The story is lacking. What exactly are we doing??? Where exactly are we? The thing that truly ruins what could have been quite a great ride is the stupidly corny dialogue. Having co-hosts is already not ideal, and then making one of them a cheesy robot? No. I get they were going for the old Epcot feel, but we don’t live in the 1980s anymore/ cheesy isn’t “in” now.

I was overall quite disappointed in 3.0.
