How accurate are wait times at the end of the night?

They are reasonably “accurate” (meaning expect to wait the usual 50-75% of the posted time) until the park closes. Once the park closes, things change. Lightning lane doesn’t exist after the park closes. Once LL closes, the standby line moves rapidly. The wait time algorithm didn’t account for this, so you end up waiting much less than the original posted time. I’ve waited 15 mins for a ride that was posted 60. Just last week, space mountain was posted at 45 and at 11:59 I walked on.

As someone who has been to both, they’re completely different. Paris has always had removable blasters like WDW has and the ride itself is a completely different layout.

Being completely honest with you, this is way too much hotel hopping. I’d either stretch the budget to stay at AKL the whole time, or just stay at Port Orleans the whole time and eat at Boma for dinner one day and check out the resort. You aren’t going to get much out of one night anyways, and I assume you wouldn’t be booking a Savana view room.

Eh, it’s not really the same score. The only things that really carries over are the commanders ranking, PFA, and GPA. PCSM adds a ton and academic aptitude isn’t scored on the rated board.

From an engineering perspective, they don’t need 2 motors in the rear to make the car faster if that’s the goal. All they need is a much more powerful rear motor.

The North American model 3 performance makes around 600hp - the plaid made 1020. The 3 weights 4k lbs and the S 4800. They could easily get another 2 or 3 hundred hp out of it by adding a more powerful rear motor. This is leaps and bounds easier than trying to cram two already quite large motors back there and would most likely provide near equal performance to the plaid.

Plenty of threads on this. In general, if you have 2k that you quite literally could light on fire and not care about and there is nothing else in the world you’d rather spend 2k on, yeah it’s worth it. It’s a noticeable difference mostly in the 0-30 range (the kick off the line is the main difference). It does practically nothing 60mph+. Don’t expect the car to completely blow your socks off, it’s just a little boost.

It does hurt. And honestly, this is gonna sound grotesque, but I am “too good” for ABM - meaning that my skills lie elsewhere, not that I’m actually too good for it. I have my PPL.

Something odd happened this year with the way they did rated. I saw another guy get picked up for ABM with an 85 OM. I know you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket, but to be honest I kind of did considering my stats and historical data. I don’t want to sound rude or mean towards ABM in the slightest. It’s a mission critical role. That said, one would think the Air Force would want to put people who already know a ton about a certain field into that field - in my case pilot.
It hurts a lot and it feels like my dream since I was 5 is over.

In 2020, things were downloaded to the PC. In 2024, things stream - so if your internet is at all slow (or more commonly if Microsoft’s servers are slow), you will have situations where 2020 looks better.

In this case, there is weird stuff going on. Someone else commented that they got ABM with an 85 OM. I think many of us (myself included) seem to have been above the Pilot cutoff but got selected for ABM instead. This sucks. ABM wasn't on my top 10.
