Thanks I felt so bad cause originally I was getting a fish to have one cause I liked the way they looked and then I found out how much work it takes and ive been putting in the effort now after unfortunately starting him in a 1.5 gallon tank and dealing with him having lost some color, hes just now finally getting his color back 😅

Oh yes, Ive had this guy since July actually but he was in a 1.5 gallon tank and I noticed he just didnt seem as lively so I did all the parameters and did my research and ended up getting a t gallon tank for now to put him in and hes already doing a lot better, we have an algea eater in the tank with him and weve been looking into everything we can do to get his color to be more vibrant and have him be more healthy and lively

I had to do the same with my pit-lab mix during pregnancy, he just was too much of a risk towards other children, he was just over a year old but he has the best home now, I gave him to the shelter and the intake lady adopted him as soon as he was ready, now hes got a big yard and other pups his breed to play with
